I am a beginner surfer and I was a bit nervous about this trip. I had surfed only once before and there were going to be participants on the trip that were higher level. I did not want to impact my experience or the other surfers with my limited experience. I was able to speak with both Nique and the KiwiBrown team prior to the trip and they were quick to respond and answer any questions I had. They left me feeling assured that the locations we would be going to would be suitable for my level as well as the other participants. I found that to be true and I enjoyed that I was able to have surf instruction tailored to my level. The surfing instruction I received from both Nique and the Kiwi Brown team helped me feel empowered to continue to surf after the trip. The video analysis portion was extremely helpful and insightful. I also learned so much from the video analysis of the other higher level surfers. The trip exceeded my expectations, the two hotels we stayed at were large, clean and spacious. Jeju is beautiful and I loved that we also got to explore the island a bit in between surfing. I really felt this trip offered both structure with schedule and flexibility where needed. For example, I was able to request to try Jeju Black Pork and the Kiwk Brown team help set up that lunch as part of one of the included lunches for me while offering dining spot options for other participants dietary needs. The pacing of the trip was great. The wavepark in Seoul was also a cool thing to experience so I understand the difference with surfing at a wave pool. I would definitely love to book this tour again in the future. I could not have asked for a better trip, both Nique and the Kiwi Brown team were so attentive to everyone's needs and were so sweet and welcoming.

I loved this retreat so much and would go again in a heartbeat. Song and Saku were such warm and hospitable hosts with deep knowledge of Jeju and its surf culture. Nique was an encouraging and detail-oriented coach who provided helpful analysis of our surfing. The Siheung wave park on the mainland was a fun and interesting experience as well. We did a lot of surfing and sightseeing, and I never felt overwhelmed or rushed by the busy schedule. It was a blast :)

This was a trip of a lifetime and I highly recommend. Trip organizers Song and Saku were incredibly thoughtful and took care of us from beginning to end. Nique provided great surf instruction and review. Jeju Island is beautiful and there is so much to learn and explore. I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to experience this special place.
