The Nordic countries are internationally recognised for their progressive and highly effective education systems. This study tour offers educators a unique opportunity to explore how schools in Finland and Denmark foster student wellbeing, creativity, and high academic outcomes.
Over eight days, participants will travel through four Nordic capitals — Helsinki, Stockholm, Copenhagen and Oslo — combining cultural exploration with meaningful professional learning experiences. The program includes school visits in Finland and Denmark, where participants will observe classrooms, engage with educators, and participate in discussions about teaching practices, leadership, and student-centred learning.
Travel between cities is part of the experience itself, with scenic rail journeys and overnight Nordic ferry crossings linking these vibrant capitals. Along the way, participants will also explore the rich culture, design, and history that shape life and learning across Scandinavia.
Designed for educators who are passionate about global perspectives in education, this tour provides a balance of professional development, cultural insight, and collaborative discussion with fellow school leaders and teachers.
