Once you arrive at Indira Gandhi International Airport (DEL), you will be greeted by our pre-arranged driver who will bring you to the hostel where you'll meet up with the rest of the group. We'll have a big welcome dinner tonight to start off our beautiful India girls trip!

Our first full day in India will be spent exploring Delhi! We'll start with breakfast at the hostel before meeting with our local tour guide and driver who will take us on a local sightseeing tour around the city.

After an eventful morning, we'll head to Old Delhi where we'll be apart of a guided Street Food Tasting Tour (one of my favorite activities in Delhi). We'll have the opportunity to try many of Delhi famous street foods like Dahi Ballah, Aloo Chaat, Parathe, Chole Bhature, Jalebi, Indian Masala Tea, and more!

  • Old Delhi Street Food Tour (which will serve as dinner)

After breakfast at the hostel this morning, we will be heading back to the Delhi Airport to catch a flight to Jaisalmer, known as India's "Golden City".

Once our flight arrives around noon, we’ll be greeted by a pre-arranged driver and head to our hostel to check in. Later in the afternoon, we’ll meet our local, English-speaking guide for a sightseeing tour around Jaisalmer and an afternoon spent exploring!

  • Domestic flight from Delhi (DEL) to Jaisalmer (JSA)

Today is a special day in the itinerary because we'll be going on a Camel Safari in the desert and sleeping underneath the starts in a "glamping" camp. How incredible?!

Before heading out on our camel safari we take a trip over to the Jaisalmer fort to experience the only living fort while the city is waking up. Plus, the Jain temple inside the fort is especially beautiful and peaceful in the morning! Later in the afternoon, we'll be picked up and start heading out on our overnight camel safari adventure and even make a few stops at Khaba Fort and a natural oasis on the way. We'll then embark on the camel safari where we will ride into the desert and across sand dunes until we reach where we're staying overnight. The night will end with sunset and a bonfire, plus a traditional dinner will be served under the stars! And to make the experience even more unique, tonight we will quite literally be sleeping underneath the stars (not in glamping tents)!

Today we will wake up to a beautiful sunrise and breakfast made in the desert before hopping back on our camels and saying goodbye to the desert. Afterwards, we'll hop in our van and begin heading to the next destination of the trip: Jodhpur!

The drive from Jaisalmer to Jodhpur is roughly 4.5 hours so you'll have some downtime in the car to relax and sleep in the car. Once we arrive at our homestay accommodation for the night, we'll set off on the half-day Bishnoi Village Safari where we will get to experience the rich tapestry of rural Rajasthan, traditional ways of living, discover the age-old art of hand block printing and witness local artisans at work.

Today we will be exploring the city of Jodhpur! We will meet our local sightseeing guide in Jodhpur who will take us around the city for the day. Later in the afternoon, we'll go on a zip lining tour with six different zip lines over the battlements and lakes of Mehrangarh Fort. The final (and longest) flying 300m over two lakes, with breathtaking views of the Blue City and Mehrangarh Fort. Unforgettable!

Today is also a lovely day to shop for sarees if you would like to wear one to the Taj Mahal later on in the trip. Other good things to shop for in Jodhpur include spices and perfume oils (which Jodhpur is great for).

Today we're off to our next stop of the trip, Jaipur! We'll have an early breakfast at the homestay this morning before catching the train from Jodhpur to Jaipur. Upon arriving in Jaipur early in the afternoon, we'll have time to settle down at the hostel and relax before our cooking class this evening! We'll get to learn all about local Indian cuisine, how to make it, and of course be eating everything that we cook for dinner!

Jaipur is known as the "Pink City" and today you'll see why! Today is all about exploring the city of Jaipur. We'll be with a local tour guide who will take us around the city, stopping at some of the famous stops like Amer Fort, Jantar Mantar, City Palace, Hawa Mahal, and more. Today is also a great day for souvenir shopping!

This morning will be a quieter morning with some down time, making it a great day to explore local bazaars and to do some souvenir shopping in the city.

Later in the afternoon, we'll head out to a unique block printing class where everyone will have the opportunity to create their own block printed fabric. This is such a unique activity that allows you to learn more about the ancient, artisanal craft of block printing in India while also creating something that you'll be able to take home with you!

Are you ready to go to our last destination of the group trip?! Today we're headed Agra, home of THE Taj Mahal!

We'll start our morning like every other with breakfast at the hostel before starting our journey to Agra. Along the way, we'll be stopping in Chand Baori and Fatehpur Sikri for some sightseeing along the way. This afternoon/evening, we'll have the opportunity to walk around, explore, shop, etc. And if we're lucky, we might be able to catch sunset with a view in Agra!

Tonight will definitely be an early night because tomorrow morning we'll be waking up before the sun and heading to the Taj Mahal at sunrise. It's sure to be an incredible morning!!

Bonus: We might even arrange for a henna artist to come by for anyone who wants mehendi for the Taj. Please note, this cost would be paid for by participants who want to partake themselves.

Although today is the final day of our group trip together, we're ending it off with a bang by visiting the one & only Taj Mahal at sunrise!! Waking up before the sun to get ready for our final morning and heading over to the Taj Mahal where we'll watch sunrise and be some of the first people to enter the gates when it opens!

After spending time at the Taj and soaking up all of it's beauty, we will head back to the hostel for a quick breakfast before starting our drive back to Delhi. Here we'll saying goodbye to the group and India, and everyone will hop on their respective flights home.
