About this trip

This tour is the ultimate pure wilderness experience. We take you from the Moremi and to the Okavango Delta —   to Savuti and on to the flood plains of Chobe — the home of many National Geographic “Big Cat” documentaries. If you are looking for a bespoke safari experience that has no equal, then this is the safari for you. Botswana’s Wildest North also takes you to one Khwai, one of Botswana's best kept secrets. Khwai is a community trust that abounds with some of the country’s most abundant sightings of lions, African wild dogs, leopards, and hyenas.

Day 1,2 and 3   Okavango Delta and/or Moremi ( Game drives and Mokoro-Dugout        canoes.)

Day 4 and 5    Khwai ( Game drives and off-roading)Day 6 and 7      Savuti (Game drives)
Day 8 and 9    Chobe National park (Game drives and boat cruise)
Day 10              End of Safari or continue to Vic Falls.

Additional tour - Vic Falls - we highly recommend visiting Vic Falls after your safari. 2 nights at Ilala Lodge will give you plenty of time to experience the wonders of the Fall. Itinerary

Day 1
Exploring Okavango Delta

Unlimited tours and safaris professional guide will meet you on arrival at Maun International airport and guide to our vehicle. Then transfer to the Mokoro station approximately 1 hour drive where we will meet our qualified community guide and poler. They will pole us around the water channels as we are heading to our camping spot in the Delta. Lunch can be arranged for you on your arrival in Maun. Our camp staff will set up our camp. There will be enough time for you to relax and refresh, then have dinner before our good night sleep under canvas.

Please not that on your Mokoro excursion into the Delta due to weight restrictions on the canoes, we can not carry our full-service camp with us, so you will use 3x3 meter Dome tents with mattress on the ground. You will have a separate shower and toilet enclosure close to your tent.
