Join together at breakfast for a quick introduction and start our day with our Balinese offering ceremony.

After breakfast we will have time to swim or walk around Ananda to discover all the nooks and crannies of this beautiful hotel.

Lunch location to be advised,

In the afternoon we will be nurtured with a magical afternoon with massage treatments, pedicures and facials. So many options!!

Dinner will be at the famous Indus restaurant just across the road from Ananda Resort. This will be our welcome dinner and is included in your retreat price. ( drinks excluded)

Pemulan Cooking School
An early Breakfast before we are picked up for a day out at the Pemulan Farm Cooking School.

Our group will firstly explore the local market learning about Balinese produce before we head to the farm school to begin our lessons.

The location is set on an organic farm where we will pick our food for our 6 course meal which we will enjoy as a lunch before heading back to our hotel approx time 230 pm with the afternoon then free to enjoy a nana nap, swim or a yoga class later on.

Today is a free day for you. (selfpay)

You can either spend time shopping in Ubud,

A day trip with a driver, I can recommend a halfday/full day trip to waterfalls, temples etc

A jewellery making class

Another massage perhaps :)

A sleep in and a read of a good book around one of the 3 pools at Ananda.

Pyramids Of Chi ( Yoga, Sound Healing) & Lunch.
Enjoy a quiet morning before we head off to the Pyramids Of Chi for a beautiful yoga and sound healing session (this is included in your retreat price)

Lunch afterwards is selfpay.

Day Trip
After breakfast we will be getting creative in our 3 hour class in Batik painting.

Beginners and experts will find this process of art fun and with lots of local help the outcome of our work will look fabulous to take home. A little memory of Bali.

Afterwards we drive to the instagram famous location of the Tegallalang Rice Paddies where we'll enjoy local Indonesian cuisine or western overlooking the picturesque rice fields. This is a stunning restaurant.

After lunch, a walk and perhaps a little shopping we will take a short drive to Tampaksiring Temple where we will learn about Hinduism, and if you wish, take part in a beautiful Hindu water blessing. Our guide will give us information on how to go through the procession of each water feature.

**This is of course optional. You may wish to sit back under a tree and watch.

Dinner tonight will be our farewell dinner. Location will be advised and this is included in your retreat price (drinks excluded)

Farewell
Today is our last day of our itinerary.

The day is yours to sleep in, enjoy a late breakfast, another swim or walk through the rice paddies of Ananda.

Checkout is 12pm but we can organise a safe place for your luggage if you wish to use the facilities or head into Ubud for shopping and lunch before your airport transfer to the International airport.

Well organised and a great itinerary. Perfect for inexperienced travellers who want to take the hard work out of planning. Renae was a great host. All the places and restaurants we visited were lovely. Great pace. Not too rushed but still got to experience lots of things. I will book again!

This was my first “girls” trip and I had the best time. Renae organised a brilliant itinerary where I got to experience several firsts, Sound Healing, Cooking School, Water Blessings and learning to make Canang Sari (Balinese offerings). Our accommodations were wonderful and even the rain could not stop us. I had been to Bali twice before but definitely learnt more this time around being with Renae and the other 6 ladies. Highly recommend

Renae really excels when it comes to planning the perfect escape! Millthorpe is such a lovely, quaint little town with friendly locals, delicious coffee, food and wine, and a beautiful mix of stores where you're sure to find something that catches your eye. The annual Millthorpe Fire Fair warms the heart and soul, as the friendly community comes together in the main street. The wine tasting, abstract painting lesson and gentle shopping in Orange and Carcoar are the icing on the cake. I loved this weekend and came away with so many special memories. Thank you Renae xxx

It was another great weekend away with Renae & Soul Sanctuary Retreats. Renae’s trips are well thought out with just the right amount of activities and free time. The activities are varied and fun but not overly strenuous which suits me as my current walking ability has reduced. Accommodations were very comfortable and our room was nice and warm considering we were in “single digit” temperatures for most of the weekend. The other travellers were a lovely easy going bunch of ladies and I felt we all mixed well. Conversations and wine flowed, much laughter was had and some delicious food was consumed. My travel buddy and I enjoyed an excellent trip away and I can’t wait to enjoy another domestic trip with Renae.
