Ubud is a location I have chosen to immerse ourselves in many Balinese cultural experiences, including day trips to Batik painting art class, yoga & sound healing class, local farm & cooking schools, shopping, relaxing and rejuvenating day spas, cafes and restaurants, and meeting new friends who have chosen to nourish and nurture themselves , just like you in Ubud Bali.

The experience I have created is a flexible itinerary where you can say YES to everything or choose your own events over the 6 days we are in Ubud.

Ananda Cottages (Ananda Ubud) offers traditional Balinese-style accommodation set amongst the rice fields in Ubud. The resort features 3 swimming pools, Yoga Shalas, a spa and an open-air restaurant.

Ananda Cottages is a 10-minute drive/25 min walk from central Ubud where you can experience the hustle of Balinese shopping. From there it is another short walk or taxi to the famous Monkey Forest. 

A scheduled drop-off shuttle (3x per day) to central Ubud is available free of charge from our Hotel.

Rooms at Ananda come with Balinese décor and a private balcony with views of the rice fields. All are equipped with a mini-bar, daily filtered water bottle,  air-conditioning & fans, Tea & Coffee making facilities and a private bathroom with a bathtub. 

Our rooms are in the quieter part of the resort,  but please remember, we are still in a lush tropical location and you will hear geckos, the occasional rooster and experience the chatterings of the local villagers tending to their rice paddies below us. 

Our rooms are situated approximately 300m from our breakfast venue. 

There are several restaurants and quaint cafes and shopping options within walking distance from Ananda as well as small convenience stores and money exchange/atm's.

On this tour there is a fair amount of walking - we have the hotel situated in  the best location to simply walk everywhere.  You do need to have a moderate level of fitness and be prepared for uneven ground.

TWINSHARE : $2150 per person 

SINGLE : $2550

*Tour price is Land price only and does not include return airfares.

* This tour has an initial $500 AUD deposit to secure your place with us, with the remainder to be paid 75 days prior to departure -18/6/2024

* All payments made by credit card will incur a small processing fee.

Terms & Conditions

* Up until 75 days before the start of the tour a $500 non refundable deposit will be retained.

* Between 45-75 days before the start of tour , 50% of the final payment (including non refundable deposit) will be forfeited.

* For less than 45 days or for no shows the entire amount will be forfeited as we would have already paid for accommodation, transport, activities etc and this money will not be returned to us.

* Once the tour has begun no monies will be returned to you.

* Travel Insurance Is Compulsory- 

*Guests must ensure that have appropriate Travel Insurance policies in place prior to departure. 

* You are responsible for checking all testing and proof of vaccination requirements for the airlines or vessel operator/s you travel with and all countries you travel to and transit through.  For more information refer to Smart Traveller website 

* This Tour requires a moderate level of fitness - there is walking, steep stairs, uneven roads.

As mentioned, our location in the resort is more private ,therefore it may take 200-300m to walk to breakfast. 

* Sites are large and sometimes hot, you may need to walk several kilometres around a single site.  

Arrival: 

Arrival is from 2pm Sunday 1 September at  Ngurah Rai International Airport, also known as Denpasar International Airport , depending on traffic it can take between 1 to 1.5 hours to reach our hotel.

Your driver will collect you from the airport with your name and Soul Sanctuary Retreats on a name card that will be held up for you to see.

** If you are arriving after 10pm at night  I will you meet you in the morning over breakfast. 

Your room will be ready and waiting for you on arrival.  

Please note, there is no reason to arrive early for this trip as there are no planned activities on the first day. It has been included just for you to arrive and settle in.  If you decide to arrive a night before I can book an extra night at Ananda (subject to availability) or give you a hotel suggestion if you'd like a night on the beach before coming to Ubud.

Departure:

Checkout is 12pm but if your flight is later I can arrange for you to have all luggage secured in a lockable room and provide showers etc before departure.
