About this trip

Anna and Amber  will set the tone for your weekend of exploring what it means to digest.

Life as we know it has changed rapidly with technology and stress. We see how this has impacted society and how hard it is to digest our emotions and our food. Everyone you talk to these days is having a hard time whether it be with stress or having sensitivity to foods or both.

Many complaints Anna receives as a health coach range anywhere from gas and indigestion, to brain fog and depression. All being tied to the food we eat and how we assimilate it in our body through our digestive tissues and the way we digest the action in what is happening in the world around us.

Amber’s experience recently with her students includes a lot of joint pain,

frustration, and tiredness.

We invite you to fully relax this weekend and learn how yoga,

meditation, Ayurveda and food can help you choose what's right for your body.

Amber and Anna want to teach you techniques you can have for life in helping combat these inevitable symptoms of life in the real world.

This retreat is different from the others because it will really focus on resetting your body, mind, and spirit through movement, breath, diet, and Ayurvedic oil self massage.

This is a list of what you will receive on this 3 day retreat:

5 Yoga, breathwork and meditation classes with Amber

5 meals curated to gently help the body rest and detox by Anna

1 cooking lesson with Anna

1 Self oiling Ayurveda and yoga class with Amber

2 nights in a private Luxurious home in the countryside of Michigan

Supportive gifts for take home that will help you continue the gentle reset

Yoga will be accessible for all levels and the food will be vegetarian. This is not a weekend of

starvation or caffeine elimination. There will be 3 large meals a day and plenty of coffee and tea at your disposal. We want you to rest, reflect, and digest so that you can thrive.

We might encourage you to cut down on caffeine, but we do not want you to suffer in any way. Food will be plant forward and full of fiber which can sometimes be challenging to digest if you haven't done a little prep. A week before the retreat it is helpful to drastically cut down or eliminate these things from your lifestyle:

  • Refined Sugar (desserts, candy, baked goods)
  • Processed Meat (lunch meat, salami, hotdogs)
  • Large amounts of caffeine (tea and coffee)
  • Soda and alcohol
  • Processed Food with high salt content (freezer meals, chips, crackers)

This is not required but it is suggested to help your body get the most out of the weekend.

We invite you to fully relax this weekend and learn how yoga, meditation, ayurveda and food can help you choose what's right for your body. Amber and Anna want to teach you techniques you can have for life in helping combat these inevitable symptoms of life in the real world.

This weekend is a wonderful way to give yourself a gentle reset for the Spring season. Not only will you walk away with lots of new information you will also have an opportunity to reset the body and give your digestion a much needed break. Spring time is the most opportune time for this habit. What a gift!

This was a wonderful weekend. Great yoga, great food, and accommodations were lovely. Of particular note is that Amber and Anna both attract the best people so everything I've experienced with them (together and separate) leads to soul and body satisfying experiences. Thank you!

Amber and Anna created such a beautiful retreat experience that started the moment we arrived and can still be felt a week and a half later. They were grounded, present and offered such loving energy to each guest. It was such a comfortable weekend with plenty of time to relax, get outside, practice throughtfully-led asana and pranayama, eat the most delicious meals and share in circles. Amber’s yoga teaching is something truly special to experience and Anna’s cooking and extra touches were exactly what we needed and more than we could have imagined. Thank you so very much :)

This retreat was extra special. I have made friendships in 3 days that will last a lifetime. The space that Amber and Anna provide is sacred and full of beauty. Every detail was well thought out. My soul was nourished by the community that gave me laughter and tears of reflection. The yoga classes, the food, the setting, the people, the butterflies... all of it was magical.

Spectacular! Amber's Yoga and meditation classes are so thoughtful and approachable - and on so many levels. I always feel recharged and a better version of myself - emotionally, spiritually, physically after her classes. She IS a teacher you have to experience! Anna's food nourished us and brought us running to the table! Creative, seasonal and superbly delicious. The location was perfect for a nourishing and restful weekend away and to top it off, an extraordinary group of women joined the retreat this year! So thankful!
