About this trip

A dream come true. Truly. On this journey, you will experience three very different cities that remain as described through books and partitures.
Budapest, Vienna and Prague. Depending on the season, sunlight will show you different aspects of all three. Maybe you will be able to see the shining golden details of the Art Nouveau facades in Prague or the colorful tiles on the rooftops in Vienna. Or, when there is no sunlight, you will appreciate the magnificent ironwork on the buildings in Budapest as well as the gargoyles and sculptures surrounding the bridges of all three cities. Either way, there will always be a delicious treat, a moving melody and a friendly encouragment to pick up a book and cozy up or frolic through the streets to find murals, flowers or a coffee.

“Vienna was the city of statues. They were as numerous as the people who walked the streets. They stood on the tip of the highest towers, lay down on stone tombs, sat on horseback, kneeled, prayed, fought animals and wars, danced, drank wine and read books made of stone. They adorned cornices like the figureheads of ships. They stood in the heart of fountains glistening with water as if they had just been born. They sat under trees in the parks summer and winter. Some wore costumes of other periods, and some had no clothes at all. Men, women, children, kings, dwarfs, gargoyles, unicorns, lions, clowns, heroes, wise men, prophets, angels, saints and soldiers preserved for Vienna an illusion of eternity.”

Anaïs Nin

Daytrip to Kutna Hora

Breakfast at the hotel

Daytrip!

Head over to one of the first towns we ever dared explore back when map apps were used by only a few. Bought the wrong bus ticket, got off on the wrong stop and hotel was within a nature reserve, reachable only by foot. But we made and it was perfect.

Come with us to Kutna Hora, a UNESCO world heritage town and discover why we fell in love with it... other than the journey, of course.

“Prague does not have its name for no reason - in truth,

Prague is a threshold between the life on Earth

and Heaven, a threshold much thinner and narrower then in any other places…”

Gustav Meyrink
