* Updated Passport that will not expire within six months of the travel dates

* Ghana Visa



Cancelation Policy

* Trip deposit is non - refundable.

* There will be a full refund if we cancel the trip due to COVID-19. 

* Any cancellations will incur a cancellation fee of 50% of other monies paid plus the cost to wire refund in order to cover Certified Africa’s administrative costs.

* All monies paid within 90 days of departure date, 70% of payment is non-refundable. 

* All monies paid within 60 days of departure date, 100% of payment is non-refundable.

* All balance will be due 30 days before trip date.

Friday Day 1

Friday Day 1 image

Akwaba - Welcome

Today, you arrive to the motherland.  You will be picked up by our team at the Airport  the Certified Africa way.  

Settle in, relax and enjoy the new environment. 

Tonight we will have our special Welcome dinner with some Ghanaian invites and returnees.

We will dine, network and dance in preparation for the journey ahead.

Saturday Day 2

Traditional Welcome Home Ceremony

Wake up and enjoy your buffet breakfast. 


Today we will immense ourselves into the culture by participating in a traditional welcome ceremony to welcome you back into the motherland. 

There will be a Durbar of Chiefs and elders to offer prayers and perform some traditional rites for the group. 


We will have the opportunity to dance along with the cultural dancers as we celebrate our return to the motherland.

You have the rest of the day to yourself. 


Our seamstress will be on standby for those who want outfits made.

Sunday Day 3

Free day

Wake up with your breakfast buffet ready to go.  Today, you call the shots on how you spend the day. Be the African you and move like a local.  You may decide to go shopping at the biggest mall in the city or go swimming in the Atlantic Ocean since sunday is a big beach day.  For those who enjoy Art work, you may want to check out some of the city's best galleries. We recommend you try the local transport (trotro). You may go Chocolate tasting from Ghana's finest cocoa.   Don't forget to try one of Accra's staple dishes Banku and Tilapia accompanied by a bottle of chilled Orijin. 

Finish off the day with the night life experience of your choice.

Monday Day 4

Slave Dungeons & Kakum National Park

Today, we journey to the central region to visit the Cape Coast slave castle where it all began.   We will experience the horror of the dungeons where  slaves were kept to await the ships.  After, we will pass through the "door of no return"  where slaves exited and left their homeland. Today, the "door of no return" has been commemorated as the "door of return" to await the descendants of those who were forcefully taken. We will have an official welcome home ceremony here.


We will also visit the Kakum National Park.  Kakum is a preserved rain forest with a canopy walkway that is suspended 30 meters above the ground on tree tops. 

We will spend the night in Cape Coast.

The Capital City

Today we Will journey from Cape Coast to Accra. 

Upon arrival in the capital, you can use the day to rest and be refreshed for the journey ahead.


You can do some more shopping today and later hit the town for some nightlife fun.

Wednesday Day 6

Resort Experience

Today we will visit a beautiful Resort to have some fun and also relax.

We'll catch a boat cruise on the volta river.   The volta river is the largest man made lake in the world by surface area. 

We will enjoy nice lunch buffet at the resort as we connect with each other even more.

New Year's Eve Experience

New Year's Eve is a special time in Ghana. We will have the early part of the day for ourselves as a free time.


Later in the evening, we will ring in the New Year..

Friday Day 8

Free Day & Night Out

Today you can take the day to rest or use as you wish.

Later in the night we will have a group night out in the heart of the City.

Make sure you get your party groove going!

Saturday Day 9

Business Seminar

Today, we will have a seminar that dives into Ghana's business space and discuss some investment opportunities available. We will also hear the stories of some business people that have succeeded in their fields and the lessons learnt.

You will have your questions and concerns about doing business in Ghana addressed.

This will be followed by an intentional networking session to meet other entrepreneurs in the country to build potential business connections.

The night is yours to use as you wish.

Departure

You can do some last minute shopping today.


Today, you depart from the mother land, but not for long.
