Challenging Trek. But ChileTour made all the arrangements for lodging, food and transportation. We got everything that was promised. Had a great time.

My husband, brother, father and I did the W Trek Classic 7 Days & 6 Nights Tour with Chile Tour Patagonia and we had a great time! The hike is hard but absolutely stunning. Over the 5 days of hiking we did a total of 57 miles. The Garden Domes you stay at the first and last night are very nice and roomy, and the provided dinner in the town of Puerto Natales was great. The first day of the hike is up to the famous Base of the Towers and you have two guides with you that day, who were both helpful and great. After that first day of hiking you are transported back out of the park to cabins right outside the main park entrance, which are rustic but nice. The next day you are transferred back to the start of the trail, and you do the next 4 days by yourself without a guide. There really is no need for a guide these days as the trail is well marked. The next three nights, we stayed in dorm rooms two nights (one night with four people per room, and one night with 6 people per room), and we stayed in raised luxury tents one night. The refugios are basically the same as hostels. Everything with the transportation, lodging and food was set up by Chile Tour Patagonia, and went smoothly and easily. I highly recommend Chile Tour Patagonia - having them set it all up and coordinate everything takes a big burden off trying to plan everything yourself. They took care of everything and it all went very smoothly.

Highly highly recommend 100%! One of the most organized, welcoming, and incredible tour trekking experience. Ricci, Gonzalo, the cooks at the Garden Domes, the tour guides for the Base Torres day, and the rest of the staff we encountered were amazing. We did the optional kayak tour at Lago Grey and it was amazing! We made some amazing friends and everyone in our tour group was such a pleasure to be around. I would recommend getting an eSIM (we used Airalo) and download WhatsApp so you can communicate with Gonzalo/trip coordinators while you are abroad :)

The concept for this trip is good, that is a night at Garden Domes before and after the trek, and a very nice meal on the night of arrival and on the last day. The domes are fun to stay in, but be aware that they are about 20 minutes walk to town. Taxis are easy to get if you don't want to walk. Ricci is very helpful and informative. It is advisable to sort out your entrance pass to Torres Del Paine at Garden Domes, because the machines at the park entrance were quite difficult to use. You need a back pack of 60 litres capacity. You only need a sleeping mat for one night at Paine Grande, and you can hire a very good one there, so no need to carry one. The premium camping at Refugio Frances is in tents raised off the ground, and they are really comfortable as well as quite wacky. We enjoyed the trip and would recommend Chile Tour Patagonia. We also think it is good value for money

ChileTour set up a nearly perfect adventure for us with the W Trek Classic. We were so fortunate to be grouped with hikers who were enjoyable, considerate, and amusing when we really needed to have a laugh. I say “nearly perfect” because there were a couple of glitches in transportation and accommodations. But over all, it was an amazing adventure. Our first day of the trek to the base of Torres del Paine with Sebastian and Max as our guides was exceptional. If you are fortunate enough to have them as your guides on your first day, you will be forever grateful.

We traveled in January 2024 with ChileTour Patagonia on the W Trek Classic, we highly recommend them! From Eason's introductory email and checklist, to Gonzalo's attention to detail in making our trek arrangements easy, and Ricci's hospitality with our welcome and farewell dinners, everything was handled so you can concentrate on the trek. All the lodges were good, we especially loved our cabin after the first day of hiking, as our party had it all to ourselves! For what you pay, ChileTour Patagonia was a great value, and we would recommend any travelers to the Torres del Paine National Park make ChileTour Patagonia your first stop!

We had such a wonderful time hiking the W, but that will happen regardless of how you book this trek. What Ricci and his crew do is; bend over backwards to make one feel welcome and at home. We were greeted with smiles off our bus from El Calafate, taken to awe inspiring views and a cup of tea at the garden domes and then gathered together to make a new little trekking family through a delicious meal at their restaurant Le Brisket. Coming off the trail was just as relaxing and refreshing, but most importantly filled with pizza! I would 100% work with this crew again and recommend them to all my friends and family. Not always prompt, but if you contact them through Whatsapp they will get back to you! There are a lot of moving pieces that the ChileTour crew is always juggling because they fits their service to the groups coming in; and all the problems that can arise from different people coming from different directions. However, I always trusted and they always provided everything we needed. Just reach out to them!
