Bienvenidas a Ciudad de México! For the next five nights, you'll be based in Zócalo, the main square and heart of the historic center. This area is considered one of the best places to stay because it offers easy access to major landmarks and allows you to easily explore the city on foot. In line with our values, your hotel is situated outside of the more gentrified areas, offering a more authentic connection to the city.
Our Welcome Dinner is at 6 PM. Which gives you plenty of time to check into the hotel and venture out into the historic city center for sightseeing and shopping. We'll even give you a list of local places to visit during your free time!
We'll gather for a welcome dinner at Azul Histórico, tucked inside the beautiful courtyard of a historic building in the city center. Its menu celebrates Mexican cuisine through dishes rooted in regional flavors and recipes from across the country, making it a fitting first taste of the diversity and richness that will unfold throughout our journey.
After dinner, we’ll return to the hotel to give everyone time to settle in, connect with the group, and recharge after a long travel day.

After breakfast the group will head to the iconic Museo Frida Kahlo “La Casa Azul”. This museum offers an intimate look into the world of one of Mexico’s most celebrated and influential artists. Beyond her striking visual language, Frida is remembered as a powerful symbol of resilience, identity, and self-expression. Through her work, she transformed pain into art, challenging norms and redefining what it means to be seen.
Next, the group will enjoy a relaxed lunch at El Pescadito, known for its vibrant Baja-style fish and shrimp tacos. This will be a fresh, flavorful, and casual midday break. Before we continue to the Museo Casa Kahlo or "La Casa Roja", a lesser-known space that offers a different perspective on Frida’s life.
This new more personal exhibit is where we'll explore her family roots, relationships with her parents and siblings, and the environment that shaped her early years. This is the house where she grew up, an intimate and personal complement to the popular Casa Azul.
After an art-filled afternoon the group will return to the hotel for some free time to rest and recharge or shop and explore.
In the evening, the group will head to Plaza Garibaldi, where we’ll dine at the legendary Salón Tenampa, a historic cantina and one of the most iconic mariachi venues in the country. Surrounded by live music, you'll enjoy dinner, sip tequila, and experience the vibrant energy of one of Mexico’s most beloved traditions.

Day 3 will begin with a walking tour of the city's historic center. Much of Mexico City was built over what was once a vast lake system. In the time of the Mexica, there were no streets, only canals connecting the island city of Tenochtitlán.
Along the way, the group will encounter archaeological remains that reveal the ancient city hidden beneath the colonial architecture. This experience connects directly to our next stop.
The group will visit Xochimilco, one of the last remaining bodies of water from the original lake system. Often referred to as the Venice of Mexico because of its floating gardens. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is the last remnants of a vast water transport system built by the Aztecs.
Here you'll board a trajinera, or traditional long boat, and float around the surrounding canals. The group will enjoy lunch on board accompanied by music, immersing ourselves in one of the city’s most joyful and historic traditions.
Afterward, the group will return to the hotel, with the rest of the afternoon free to relax or explore at your own pace.
