Oban and Glencoe
Departure - Prearranged location and time.
If departing Edinburgh - We will pass the iconic Kelpies then on to Stirling Castle for a brief photo stop and viewpoint. Travelling on via The Trossachs National Park to dramatic Glencoe where we will stop at the Glencoe Visitor Centre to learn about the local geology, geography, wildlife and folklore. We then head west to the coastal harbour town of Oban. Glorious views, seafood and distillery or just wander the harbour front.
If departing Glasgow - We will instead head north along the western shores of Loch Lomond with views to the most southerly Munro, Ben Lomond. Stopping in at the quaint loch-side village of Luss before travelling over the Rest and be Thankful pass to the Georgian fishing town of Inverary with stunning sea loch views and historical jail. Travelling North, we will reach the harbour town of Oban then continue north east via Ballachulish to Glencoe with its dramatic mountains and history.
