Experience the ocean from a unique perspective on our Ocean Kayak Tour, an exciting adventure that combines kayaking, snorkeling, waves, and mangrove exploration in one unforgettable experience. 

We begin the tour one hour before low tide, paddling through the waves as we make our way toward the reef located at the iconic Whale’s Tail (Cola de Ballena)—one of the best snorkeling spots in the area. 

This natural formation offers calm waters and excellent visibility, making it ideal for exploring marine life.

Accompanied by an expert bilingual guide, you will snorkel along the reef while learning about

and observing a variety of marine species in their natural habitat. Your guide will help you identify fish, coral formations, and other ocean life unique to Costa Rica’s South Pacific coast. 

After the snorkeling session, we paddle to the Whale’s Tail formation to enjoy a relaxing break, 

where you can rest, take in the scenery, and enjoy fresh fruit while surrounded by the beauty of the Pacific Ocean. 

Waves, Mangroves & Nature Connection 🌱🌱

The adventure continues as we paddle back to the beach, riding the waves with our kayaks,
 adding a dose of adrenaline and fun to the experience. 

Once back on shore, we visit a small mangrove area, where you can observe birds, mammals, and other species characteristic of Costa Rica’s rich biodiversity. 

This mangrove exploration can be done by kayak or on foot, through a short walk that allows for an even deeper connection with nature.
