Escape to a quiet, pristine beach in a small Mexican fishing village at Mar de Jade, a wellness resort and yoga retreat center nestled between the tropical jungle and the pristine sandy beach of Chacala, Mexico. You will be able to immerse yourself in at least two yoga classes a day as well as learn about myofascial release and experience the magical vibration of tuning forks! And if you to want explore other options there is a spa on the premises to truly nurture yourself. There are side trips and other options such as hiking, boating, snorkeling, horseback riding, whale watching, surfing, cultural activities . . .and the list goes on!!! There is no refund on your deposit. Unfortunately, there are many expenses that go into hosting a retreat before the retreat actually takes place.
Cancellations up to 60 days prior to the first day of the retreat are entitled to a full refund
minus 20%
Cancellations 59-30 days prior to arrival date will have a full refund minus 35%.
Cancellation 30 days or less will not not be entitled to any refund but can get a $100 credit for
future retreats.
Retreat participants are responsible for all nights reserved at the rates reserved . . .no
refunds or pro-rating for arriving later or leaving earlier than the reserved dates.

Meet Guest Instructor, Brittany Carter!
I want to introduce you to Brittany Carter, our retreat co-teacher!
Brittany has a lifelong background in dance. Her awakening started the year she finished college when she accepted that her path would be different than she thought. However, it truly began with her four-month voyage through Southeast Asia, studying Buddhism, Hinduism, yoga, and meditation. Her dancer spirit and discipline of Ashtanga allow her to play with the balance between structure and creative flows. She is an intuitive teacher that is able to adapt to the needs of the students and surrender her idea of how things 'should' go so that the highest good can be met.
What’s included
- 7 nights accommodations!Each room is unique and very special. Room options vary and are limited. All rooms include natural bath amenities, hot water, in-room safe, mosquito screen and ceiling fans.
- 3 healthy meals per day!Farm to table meals from their organic farm
- Daily yoga!There will be at least two yoga classes offered daily
- Farm Tour!Visit the 17 acre organic farm where most of the vegetables are grown that support the retreat center. We will also visit the Montessori school that is supported by Mar de Jade.

- Air fare
- Airport TransfersTransportation from Puerto Vallarta airport to the Mar de Jade is not included. Shuttles can be arranged and coordinated with other participants.
- GratuityIt is customary to leave tips for the staff at the retreat center. As with any foreign travel, tips are appreciated.

- InsuranceNo one wants to have to cancel their trip but we all know it can happen. Protect your investment by purchasing travel insurance. There are many options available!

The dorm room with loft is ideal for the budget conscious traveler that would like to share with 3 or 4 people. This dorm option has one bathroom and ceiling fans. We have one dorm with loft for 4 people
Dorm rooms can accommodate up 4-5 people. We have the only dorm room with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The front area is a spacious room with a full bed, a twin and a king and a bathroom. The back bedroom has a full bed and bathroom. The dorm room have darden views and ceiling fans. We have one dorm with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms for 4 people.
Guest rooms are simple yet comfortable room for one or two people with a garden or jungle view. At this time there is the option of a one double bed or 2 full beds. All guest rooms come with air conditioning. Please indicate if you would like the room with one bed or two full beds. If you select the room with one bed you will either need to pay price for a private room which is 2450 or share the bed. Please contact me if you want to have a private room. We have 2 guest rooms for a total of 4 people
Garden rooms have a view of the lush tropical gardens and a terrace or outside sitting area. Each room has two full beds. All garden rooms have air conditioning. We have a total of 2 garden rooms for a total of 4 to 5 people (one has a futon)
Ocean rooms have an unobstructed ocean view and balcony or terrace. Most are on the third or fourth floor to take advantage of the view. All have air conditioning. We have one ocean view room for 2 people. There is currently a wait list for these rooms.
