Last shopping during the morning, before beginning the trip to the mountain. After lunch we head to the Paipote Ravine to reach the Laguna Santa Rosa, in the southwest side of the Maricunga Salt Flat, where we could find 3 kinds of flamingos: Andean, Chilean and James´s. Walk around for see the typical fauna of the place. Night in Camp or refuge according to availability. All meals included. 

Acclimatization hiking to the summit of Mount 7 Hermanas. During the hiking we can see the lagoon all the time, and when we get at the top is possible to appreciate the northern side of the Maricunga Salt Flat, the southernmost in the world. Night in Refuge or Camp, according on availability. All meals included. 

  We continue with the acclimatization. After breakfast we move to the Laguna Verde, place where we can take a bath in the natural hot springs of the shore. Night in Refuge or Camp, according on availability. All meals included. 

  We stay in Laguna Verde for one more night, to give time to the body to acclimatize before to reach the “Death Zone” over the 5000 m. We can hike around the lagoon.  Night in Refuge or Camp, according on availability. All meals included. 

  After breakfast we move to the Base Camp, no without crossing some sandy parts, pushing our car at the limit, additionally we can begin to feel the extreme to be over the 5000 m. Night in Atacama Refuge or Camp, according on availability. All meals included. 

 Acclimatization hike towards Tejos Refuge. We can appreciate our goal closer and look the route we are using for the next days. Night in Atacama Refuge or Camp, according on availability. All meals included. 

 This time we move with the rest of our necessary equipment to the high camp and stay there. Night in Tejos Refuge or Camp, according on availability. All meals included. 

This is the hardest day. We wake up early (04:00 hrs.) with low temperature and must climb more than 1000 meters, crossing a short tongue of hard snow and in the last part, after the crater, we do some of rock climbing. Night in Atacama Refuge or Camp, according on availability. All meals included. 

  Security day in case of bad weather or if we need one more acclimatization day.
