You'll have the opportunity to help pick olives in the grove at Villa Solisera. It's a fun, hands-on experience rather than strenuous work, and you're welcome to participate as much or as little as you like. We'll then visit the local olive mill to watch the olives being pressed into beautiful, fresh extra virgin olive oil—a highlight of the season. Before you leave, you'll take home a bottle of the new olive oil as a special reminder of your time in Umbria.

After picking olives, we'll prepare a homemade lunch for us to enjoy together on the terrace at the Villa overlooking the countryside.

In addition to picking olives, we'll explore Todi, enjoy a local wine tasting, and take part in a seasonal event together. Depending on what's happening during your stay, this could be a local festival, a concert, a market, or another authentic community celebration. Every Olive Harvest Experience is a little different, allowing us to enjoy the very best of Umbria in autumn.

Villa Solisera is a beautifully restored farmhouse set on a peaceful 16-acre estate surrounded by olive groves, gardens, and the rolling hills of Umbria.

The property features just four private one-bedroom apartments, each fully furnished with its own bedroom, bathroom, living area, and kitchenette. Your apartment is exclusively yours throughout your stay, giving you complete privacy and the freedom to relax, cook, read, or simply enjoy the peaceful surroundings whenever you wish.

Beyond your apartment, you're welcome to enjoy the swimming pool, gardens, covered outdoor kitchen, and spacious terraces overlooking the countryside. Most other meals are flexible and naturally fit around our days. When we are out visiting towns, markets, wineries, or seasonal events, we usually stop along the way for lunch, coffee, or aperitivo.

There is no need for cooking during the day-to-day experience — meals are enjoyed out, on the terrace, or wherever the day takes us.

Eating out in this area is relaxed and affordable, and all meals outside of those included are paid for individually by each guest.
