Join Lifesparkz' exclusive and fun cycling camps in one of Europe's best cycling areas: La Costa Daurada in Catalonia, Spain.
This is a cycling camp designed for riders, who look for top notch facilities and local cycling coaches who are on the top of the game in one of Spain's best cycling areas.
Tina from Lifesparkz Bike Tours will be present as tour organiser and contact point locally. She joins some of the cycling as an extra tour leader in a group, if the level is appropriate.
We ride 4 days into the beautiful mountains where local certified bike guides take us through climbs, forest, rolling hills full of wine and tell us about the villages. We are in the Priorat wine districts which is famous for its high quality wines.
We will be in groups of max 10 people per guide and have a service car that follow us along our way.
We will adjust the routes and distances according to the participants,. You are an experienced road bike rider, but there is no need to be in training to become the greatest champion of all times.
If you are, and we have more riders on a top level, we set the bar high with our local coach, who is already training riders at an elite and professional level 😀.
We stay at the Mediterranean Sports Hub in Cambrils. It is a sports resort known for its first class facilities for athletes from all kinds of sports. Our accommodation is in modern and quiet apartments, where we share 2-3 rooms apartments. The set price is set for double room accommodation (each bed room has a private bath room).
You can also book a single room package in a shared apartment or one bedroom apartment.
On the rest day, you can join a day sight seeing trip, which will vary according to the month that we visit and what is going on at that time in the area.
It can e.g. be to visit Tarragona and explore the charming town including a Roman amphitheatre and Catalan cozy atmosphere.
It can also be a visit to one of the many wine yards in the hills, a swim-with tuna trip.
You can also visit the SPA facilities or gym at our resort, or simply rest and go to the amazing sand beach nearby. Perhaps you would like to stroll around in Cambrils. The former fishing village is known as the "Saint-Tropez" in Spain at Barcelona's southern coasts.
This is a trip designed for an open group, where riders do not necessarily know each other in advance..
It is possible to customise if you are a private groupe and have a preference for different number of people, dates, number of nights, or cycling days.
You can also ask for a custom made trip if you prefer just to have your own group leader present and do not need Tina from Lifesparkz to be present. We can instead organise with a local contact point for logistics.

Two days of cycling with local guide Jofre, who knows the Catalan cycling by heart as he grew up in the region. Jofre used to cycle as a professional cyclist, but is now mainly coaching other elite and professional cyclists.
He is good for a story or two about the local and will guide you safely through the Priorat wine, 'rolling hills' style mountains, up the local climbs and through charming villages.
Today is a day off the bikes.
We organise an option to do a non-cycling related activity such as a half-day trip to the nearby regional main town: Tarragona. It is a vibrant town with a Rambla, historic sites such as the Roman amphitheatre and of course a nice relaxed catalonian vibe.
It can also be visiting one of the marvellous wine cellars in the region or perhaps you would like to swim with tuna fish?
In the afternoon, you can enjoy the SPA in Mediterranean Sports Hub, perhaps do a workout in the gym, challenge a friend for a paddle challenge - or simply chill and relax at the wide sand beach 10 minutes away by foot.
For sure, if you cannot stay off the bike, you can go our on your own. Perhaps, cycling along the cycling path along the coast to simply spin the legs while enjoying the activities by the beaches.
During the second half of our week, we discover new corners of the Costa Daurada. By now, our guide know everybody's level and pace and will create new adventures for us.
Perhaps we get a taste of the Vuelta d'Espana route, which starts in one of the local villages this year. Perhaps we combine hidden climbs in a new fashion.
All we know is, it will be challenging, beautiful and fun.
We check-out of the apartments today, head home or travel on.
After breakfast, we will check-out and get together one last time to collect good buys before you will be picked up for your airport transfer, depending on the departure time.
If your group has a late departure, it is possible to make use of the day by the beach, visit Cambrils or Salou towns, which are both nearby.
