About this trip

This adventure is all about the connection of mind & body, inside & outside, individual & collective, physical & spiritual through disconnecting from the outside world and immersing yourself into nature.


Be prepared to spend the better part of your stay outside surrounded by a group of like-minded, open-hearted, and joyful people who by the end of the retreat will undoubtably become your friends for life. The entire trip is designed to create a feeling of a family get away with a hint of mindfulness and healthy living. In addition to yoga and yoga-inspired workshops you can expect picturesque hikes, lake swims with waterfalls, evening gatherings around the fireplace and games with the group.


The retreat is open to all level practitioners and is the perfect opportunity to not only deepen your understanding of yoga as a whole (as opposed to just a physical practice) but also to find that long lost connection with the outside world and reinvent yourself as one with nature.

About the place

Ti-Level Mountain home is a beautiful secluded cabin on Smokey Mountain between Asheville and Waynesville near Lake Logan and Blue Ridge Parkway. The house features a large open deck to enjoy amazing views, two stone fireplaces, 3 bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths and a loft full of beds. The location is perfect for yoga, hiking, fishing, tubing, rafting and more outdoor activities to become one with nature.

About your hosts

Alina Goryachikh is an international traveling yogi (RYT-500) from Russia, based in South Florida. She always said that yoga healed her mind and body, which has become the reason she made this passion into a full-time job to share the practice with as many people she can.

After Alina had first experienced the power of yoga immersion through travels, she knew that this kind of transformational experience is something that she wants to bring to her students: “60 - 75 minute classes are never enough for me to give everything I wish to share! Retreats - something that gives me more time with my students!”

Alina’s teaching styles are Vinyasa and Yin. Her yoga background includes participation and assisting in the world’s leading yoga teacher training programs such as FlowYo, Beyond Bryce and Vikasa. The combination of years of consistent practice, constant education and teaching experience provides for an unforgettable experience on the mat.


Wally Layland is a yoga teacher/student based in South Florida (RYT-500)  as well. She believes yoga is a gift to do and share because there is not many things in this world that brings people together, but yoga does. 

She has been practicing yoga for about eleven years and teaching for three years. She started practicing at a young age because she was training for the Olympics in springboard and platform diving, so it was the perfect way to help her stay healthy for her sport. But it was not until she was in college when she lost her brother and started doing yoga for the emotional/mental benefits of the practice rather than only the physical. Which is what inspired her to become a teacher -to potentially help heal others like it healed her. 

Wally has done many different trainings locally and internationally. She is well versed and her teaching styles are vinyasa, restorative, yin, meditation, and yoga nidra. You will not leave your mat feeling (mentally or physically) the same as you showed up after taking her class. 

Getting there

We suggest you to fly into Asheville airport (AVL). As of February 2020, flight prices start at $160.

Transportation to and from the cabin will be provided at a certain time.

Flying Allegiant will be the most inexpensive option, and a direct flight from FLL, which the hosts will be on as well.

June 28th: Mountain House to AVL at 12PM EST or 6PM EST

About the food

Most of our meals will be cooked on sight. The food is best described as home made, family-style, yet healthy. Vegetarian and vegan options will be provided as well as any dietary restrictions will be accommodated.

    Transfer to the adorbable town of Waynesville that has a wide variety of different stores and restaurants.

  • Lunch
    We will hike up to the Pisgah Inn where we will have lunch on Friday. And when we are the town of Waynesville on Saturday you will have your choice of restaurant.

The loft is an open space perfect for anyone who enjoys sharing experiences with others. It has 4 twin beds and 2 futons.

Itinerary

Thursday
Arrive

We will all arrive at the cabin around 6:30ish PM, where we will do an opening circle on the balcony with the beautiful view you see in the picture attached. After we all get acquainted we will do a short mediation followed by a gentle flow led by Alina & Wally right before we have dinner.

The resort was amazing, the staff was always there to help. The food was always fresh and cooked to perfection! Loved Viva ( the owners dog) and the 2 village dogs Mama and Cheela! Over all, one of the best vacations ever!
