YIN YOGA - MERIDIANS - ELEMENTS - PRACTICE & THEORY

This ONLINE creative Yin Yoga and Chinese Medicine 20 hour self paced course gently guides you into understanding our connectivity with the elements, and how Chinese Medicine and the meridian system relate to the yin yoga system and postures. Embedded with all the elemental essentials and complimentary practices, the course will encourage you to sharpen your mental awareness to the messages of nature, slow down and listen to your own body’s innate intelligence.

You will gain a embodied healing perspective, and all the practical guidance in how to use these healing practices within yin yoga, your teaching and daily life.

EACH WEEK OF THIS COURSE YOU’LL RECEIVE

THEORETICAL LECTURES

Each week is embedded with easy to follow lectures of all the essential components to each element, to maximize your learning & understanding of the connectivity of the world around you, integrated within your body, emotions & mental wellness. Igniting empowerment within, promoting your confidence to embrace & trust the natural pure essence of what holds each & every one of us.

YOUR WEEKLY YIN YOGA 90 MINUTE EMBODIED PRACTICE

Each week a 90 minute physical practice that sets the tone for the emergence of understanding the associated element, quality, & awareness its attributes offer. The elemental theme is embedded throughout each class, & offers functional variations to suit all body shapes & skeletal structures.

FOCUS OF THE WEEK

Each week you’ll have a different focus to consider. Week one, Adventure; Week two, Abundance; Week three, Trust; Week four, Harmony. Week five, Courage.

YOUR MEDITATION

Offering you four separate 15 minute meditations to compliment each separate Yin yoga practice of wood, fire, earth & metal. You have freedom to integrate them straight after the physical practice or use at different times when needed.

YOGA NIDRA

Offering a 20 minute yoga nidra to develop self compassion, honoring needs of rest & restoration to compliment the water element.

INSPIRATIONAL EXTRAS

To support your journey & evoke your own creativity in what you are drawn to, all seasonal essentials are offered, including acupuncture pressure techniques, essential oils remedies, recipes, lifestyle tips, self care, & reflective growth insights to compliment each element.

BONUS 2 HOUR PRACTICE

I hold over 1,500 hours of Yoga Teacher Training & 17 years of teaching experience in a vast range of teaching styles including Hatha, Forest yoga, Yin yoga, Pregnancy yoga, Yoga Therapy, Ayurveda, Restorative yoga & Traditional Chinese Medicine, & an RYT 500 yoga teacher qualified to lead teacher trainings. I encourage an inclusive learning environment that is informative, insightful, & embodies key theoretical concepts within the physical practices.
