Yin Yoga
50 Hours Online Yin Yoga Teacher Training
“Do your work without attachment and with being balanced in success or failure.” Bhagavad-Gita. This “Balance” is called Yoga. Yin balances Yang. Today, most of us live an overt yang lifestyle. Even yoga postures practiced are predominantly Yang in nature.
Thus incorporating more yin elements into our daily routines is essential to achieve a sense of equilibrium.
Yin Yoga targets the body’s connective tissues (ligaments, joint capsules, bones, fascia). On the other hand, the yang practices focus on the yang tissues, the muscles. In contrast, yin yoga practices help relax the body and mind. Additionally, they aid in preventing injuries and calming and coordinating the nervous system. Striving for this balance can improve physical flexibility and overall mental well-being.
