Please join us on this all-encompassing 12-day tour of Oregon. We will explore most of the state’s habitats during this tour. We will start by birding the Cascade Range extensively from Mt. Hood to Bend searching for high elevation species such as Clark’s Nutcracker, Mountain Chickadee, and Sooty Grouse. We will take a couple of days to explore the Harney Basin and Malheur National Wildlife Refuge. Here we hope to find Cinnamon Teal, White-faced Ibis, Prairie Falcon, and many more. We will return to the Cascade and search for White-headed Woodpecker, Williamson’s Sapsucker, and other woodpeckers of the area. Moving on we will dip into California to visit Thule Lake National Wildlife Refuge. Next, the coast awaits and all it has to offer. We will extensively explore the dramatic coastline of Oregon. We will look for birds such as Wandering Tattler, Tufted Puffin, 3 Cormorants, Black Oystercatcher, and many more. This tour will give us a look at all that Oregon has to offer. We should see close to 200 species on this trip.
