Start your day with breakfast overlooking the sea, then enjoy free time to explore Cannon Beach’s unique shops, galleries, and sandy shores. Late morning, we set out along the spectacular coastline, with a scenic drive south. Stop for a tasty lunch at Bear Creek Artichokes, a local favorite. In Depoe Bay, browse charming shops and enjoy the salty air of this “whale-watching capital.” By late afternoon, we check into the serene Overleaf Lodge in Yachats. Dinner tonight is at the welcoming Drift Inn Restaurant, known for hearty coastal fare and friendly atmosphere. 

After a leisurely breakfast, we set out to discover the natural beauty surrounding Yachats. Witness the dramatic power of the sea at Thor’s Well, stroll through old-growth forest to panoramic views on the Whispering Spruce Trail at Cape Perpetua, and visit the picturesque North Fork Yachats Covered Bridge. Lunch is at the casual and beloved Luna Sea Fish House in Seal Rock. The afternoon is yours—unwind at the lodge’s spa, take in ocean views from your room, or stroll along the shore. This evening, we gather for an elegant dinner at Ona Restaurant & Lounge, celebrating local flavors. 

Our final day begins with breakfast and ocean breezes. We travel north to Newport for a visit to the world-class Oregon Coast Aquarium, where you’ll encounter sea otters, puffins, and mesmerizing underwater tunnels. A farewell lunch at Local Ocean Seafood offers one last taste of the coast before our comfortable journey home. We return to Salem, Woodburn, and Tualatin by late afternoon, filled with wonderful memories of Oregon’s coastal treasures.
