ITINERARY: Cartagena to Barranquilla
Day 1: Cartagena - Embarkation
Arrive in Cartagena, the picturesque capital on Colombia’s Caribbean coast. Explore the vibrant Getsemaní neighborhood before embarking on your journey along the magical Magdalena River.
Day 2: Gambote (Palenque) - Calamar
Experience the town of Palenque, the first “free town” in the Americas. Later, visit Calamar and witness historic sites on a bicycle taxi tour for two.
Day 3: Santa Barbara de Pinto - Mompox
Explore Santa Barbara de Pinto in the morning, followed by an afternoon in the island town of Mompox with an exclusive jazz performance by local musicians.
Day 4: Mompox
Discover the colonial charm of Mompox and learn about its filigree jewelry. Take a guided walking tour and explore the Ciénaga Pijiño region in the afternoon.
Day 5: Mompox - El Banco
Cruise down the picturesque La Mojana Region and reach El Banco, the birthplace of cumbia. Enjoy an exclusive dinner and witness a cumbia performance by locals.
Day 6: Magangue
Spend the day docked near Magangue, immersing yourself in Colombian nature on a birdwatching tour or a hiking tour through the picturesque Ciénaga.
Day 7: Nueva Venecia - Barranquilla
Visit the Floating Village of Nueva Venecia and explore its unique culture. Venture to the vibrant city of Barranquilla, where you'll enjoy an exclusive “Carnaval” celebration.
Day 8: Barranquilla - Disembarkation
Bid farewell to the ship and crew as you disembark, concluding your unforgettable Colombian adventure.
