About your trip

Activity Level: Moderate

Are you ready for a weekend of camping, rock climbing and connecting with like minded weekend warriors in Joshua Tree National Park? This 2-day outdoor rock climbing weekend is perfect for all skills levels. With dozens of climbing routes just steps away from our campsite, you are sure to find something in your comfort zone and beyond.

We will spend the weekend camping at Indian Cove Campground in Joshua Tree National Park and learning how to rock climb at two different climbing sites near camp! Saturday will be a full day on the wall (8 hours), and Sunday will be a half day session(4 hrs). Expect plenty of hands-on instruction, climbing, and time to soak in the stunning desert scenery.

I’ve partnered with Chillino Rock Climbing, a trusted guiding company with over 15 years of experience leading climbs in Joshua Tree and beyond. Chillino’s certified guides are known for their supportive, patient, and personalized approach. Whether it’s your first time on real rock or you’re looking to refine your technique on more advanced routes, Chillino’s team will make sure you feel safe, challenged, and stoked every step of the way.

Over the course of two climbing sessions, we’ll explore the incredible rock formations of this world-class climbing destination. Come for the challenge—stay for the community, the views, and the unforgettable experience.

PLEASE NOTE: This price includes the 2 rock climbing sessions and camp sites only. You are expected to handle meals, transportation, and camping supplies. A group chat will be created to help organize carpools if needed and share other camp details. At the very least you'll need to pack a tent, sleeping bag, sleeping mat, a cooler with your food, and water. You have the option to leave the park to grab meals + explore the nearby quirky desert town. I will provide a recommended packing list after registration.

I hope you'll join me as we make unforgettable memories in one of southern CA's premier climbing destinations.

About your organizer

I'm a San Diego transplant who loves to hike and do all things outdoors. My mission is to create a community of outdoor enthusiasts by hosting events and meetups like this one! During the day, I'm a teacher. On my free time, I love organizing outdoor socials to help people make friends while staying active! I know how hard it is to make genuine friendships as an adult and my hope is that you not only have a good time but leave with a new connection.
