The Pacaya Volcano Day Trip is a star adventure in Guatemala that is active, easy and fun for the whole family. At 2552m, the Pacaya Volcano is less challenging than our other treks, but the views and volcanic landscape make it worth it and It's still a great adventure.

Days of operation: Wednesday and Sunday *Consult other days

For our one day hike to the Pacaya volcano we offer two start times. 6 a.m. M. Y2 p. M. For both tours we recommend you bring comfortable hiking clothes and a good pair of sports shoes. The rock is quite jagged and uneven so don't wear sandals. We also recommend bringing a hat, sunscreen, and a raincoat to plan for all kinds of weather!

They never showed up for the walk. There was no contact info given when I made the reservation. Overall, I would never book anything through WeTravel again because there is NO contact info given for the tour operator.

Our guide was there on February 17, because there were 2 more parties for the same tour. I personally sent a message to you by We Travel inbox with my personal WhatsApp and you never reply. I am sorry, but we never give up anybody on our tours.

Hands down, Armando was one of the best tour guides I ever had. I highly recommend him for any tour of Zone 1 of Guatemala City. His knowledge and English were impeccable.
