Scientific recommend to visit this arqueological site first, before to go to Machu Picchu, of that way you will understand much better the Peruvian history, by the way, there you will have a great intruduction to the museum, you will visit the temple of the virgens, the Inca trail, many other temples including the temple of the sun, the landscapes are amazing, the green valley in the middle of the desert with pacific ocean, are awesome, after this walking experience, you will return back to your hotel.
