The second day we invite you to explore Buenos Aires as a local, wandering around, with a local Private Guide, discovering uncrowed secret places, at your own pace and leaving nothing to see behind. 

Buenos Aires an its neighborhoods keeps a lot of history on the streets, walls and squares. From the times when were an spanish colony to the frenchy rooftops on the Golden Age of the city, a young but intense urbe laying down on the Rio de la Plata. 

In the evening, optionally, you can enjoy a piece of this land, one bite at the time. The Asado Experience is a BBQ cooking class with premium meat and wine where you will discover as a local this authentic argentine tradition. You will enjoy different cuts of our premium meat selection accompanied by premium wine from Catena Zapata Winery, an argentinian wines that stands with the best in the world.

Salta Capital is an ideal place to walk around and enjoy it at any time of the day. Museums, churches, historical buildings, squares with their cafés and various walks allow us to see the colonial influence, which can be appreciated in the architecture and in one of the most protected historical centres of Argentina.

Tip: A must-see is the High Mountain Museum where the Llullaiyaco Children are housed, Inca princes found on the highest peaks of this part of America, an intact sample of the cultural vestiges of the original peoples who inhabited the area.

 Another day in the north of the South, after breakfast we will pick up the rented car and take the road again, this time the red land and the giant cactuses replace the forest and lakes from the day before. Our goal, Cafayate! Nest of marvelous wines and empanadas, Cafayate has everything to enjoy yourselves. Our hotel is lays around wineyards and colonial houses, a classical view on this part of the country. 

The next day here in Cafayate starts  with a nice sun, a great time to take a walk and breath the thin air of North Argentina. Near noon a beautiful wine cellar awaits us for a wine tasting routine of their best products. Small groups, flavored drinks and nice guided experience, Cafayate at its best.

At nigth we invite you to have dinner where you can try the best local cuisine and wines along an experienced wine  expert.

Lets relax in the cafayatean night with a cup of elixir is what we deserv.

 We continue our trip by taking the road again. Cachi is our next town in the map, for getting there we take the Ruta 40 in its northern part. Cachi is a little old town too with friendly folks and good food, a nice place to stop by and admire the red & grey mountains at sunset. 

This day we leave Cachi early in the morning, our goal is reach the only departure of the day of the Tren a las Nubes at 12:00. The drive from Cachi to San Antonio is as beautiful as challenging and for sure its Must-Enjoy in this trip. 

The train is also that, it roll over the mountains to get El Polvorillo, an impresive viaduct hanging on the air giving us the sensation of being flying. Really beautiful.

Once back in town, everybody leaves and San Antonio recovers its silence and peaceful, a gift for the ones who stay overnight here.

Next stop, Purmamarca! No rush to get there anyway, the road offers enough beauty to stop in every turn so take your time, drive slow and enjoy the view. 

Prepare your cameras, a curvy and amazing road ahead! And more, the Salinas Grandes beside a few  kilometers from the main road are also a Must.

 Purmamarca in the morning is gorgeus (also the rest of the day and nigth). We invite you to experience one of the local arts, pottery. On this workshop you will get your hands dirty, learn about the Pachamama and the Cosmovision Andina and finish with a meal shared with our guest made with local goods. When we talked of contrast, well, this experience will show what we meant.
