We had a nice time. The people were wonderfull.

Sacred Valley + Maras Moray - Shared service

Great tour with Fredy.  He provided a lot of interesting information, and managed the group and time well.  The tour also involved visits to a silver store, an alpaca textile co-op, and a salt/general store.  The food at the buffet was pretty good and transportation was efficient and comfortable.  Recommended.

Great tour with Carlos aka Peter Parker.  He provided interesting information and managed the group well.  Meals at the buffet were and transportation were good.  Inside the van was a bit dusty due to the outside conditions of the dirt roads - not sure how this is rectified.  I had suggested that the cabin air re-circulation feature be activated at certain times (not sure if it already was).  Anyway, all in all, recommended!

City tour- Ana Luisa (26.04)

Had a great time with the Guru Sacred Valley day tour. Picked up at our hotel in the early morning. Our guide was very knowledgeable about all the sites listed and was open to many questions. The Lunch stop was a wonderful buffet with many salads and Peruvian main dishes with a dessert buffet as well! Thanks Guru!

The Street Food & Tavern tour was amazing!  Our knowlegeable guide led us through the markets and bustling streets to find samples of Peruvian food and drinks.  We highly reccommend this tour to expereince the hospitality, tastes and flavors of Lima!

We had the Palccoyo Mountain tour booked, but saw that it was supposed to rain and we were advised from others not to go if it rains as you may not see the mountains.  We could not get a refund but GURU EXPLORERS was very good with offering some other options of tours.  We took the Cusco City tour along with 4 historical sites in the area.  It was a fantastic tour and great value, BUT the only issue was that there were 4 english speaking people and 12 spanish speaking people on our tour so it was difficult and very time consuming for our tour guide to translate for us (the english speakers) as we did feel like we lost out a good bit on the information.  She did an amazing job and no blame to her, but the tour operator should have told us that it was a duo language tour or offered one language only tour.

Laguna Humantay was one of the most difficult places I have trekking, but also one of the most incredible views! This trip was very well organized, and our guides were excellent! Unfortunately, protests kept us from a scheduled trip to Maccu Pichu. Our trip coordinator was amazing and seamlessly scheduled another fantastic excursion in its place. When we had a small issue, she was easily contacted and corrected it immediately.

Demasiados lugares a visitar, Chinchero, Maras, Moray, Ollaytantambo y Pisac, en la misma excursión. Ahora optaríamos por ver menos y verlo mejor porque las ruinas de Ollaytantambo y Pisac no llegamos a verlas completas, sobretodo Pisac que llegamos muy justos de tiempo y la guía ya no nos explico apenas y el acceso a la parte alta estaba ya cerrado.

A Guru Explores foi maravilhosa! Inicialmente da medo pq voce se ve obrigado a negociar, ver roteiros e pagar a pessoas que voce nunca viu e nem conhece, contudo, a organização e os contatos frequentes vão te ganhando aos pouquinhos. Os valores são em dolares e a depender da cotação ficam acima dos valores de outras agencias, mas não há preço que pague tranquilidade e organização. A Guru Explorers foi sublime na organização, na contratação dos passeios e na escolha de seus prestadores de serviço. Valeu muito a pena e se um dia fosse fazer novamente os mesmos passeios eu os contrataria novamente. Fica a dica de sempre conversar sobre os passeios, afinal voce é quem deve dizer o que deseja. Os pagamentos foram todos realizados atraves do cartão de debito internacional Wise no sistema WeTravel.com. Outra dica é a do cartão Wise, permite saque em alguns caixas sem cobrança de taxas e pagamento direto pelo cartão fisico tb.

The best of lima by night - Shared Tour

The trips were as discribed, we were picked up on time and the guides were very well prepared. But, the breakfast and lunches included were very poor as the quality and variety was not good for us. We talked with some other people in the group and the opinion was the same. This is one point to be improved.

Os passeios da Laguna Humantay e montanha colorida, com o guia Miguel, foram ótimos. Tivemos um imprevisto na montanha colorida, que dois participantes simplesmente não apareceram na hora do retorno e isso atrasou a nossa volta, foi um pouco complicado pois os demais participantes ficaram estressados, mas o guia conseguiu contornar a situação. Uma questão chata também foi que eu tinha contratado o passeio para a montanha colorida e o vale vermelho, no entanto eu era a única do grupo que iria para o vale vermelho, não entendi como seria feito isso, se os demais participantes iam ficar me esperando , e quando contratei o passeio em grupo, foi pensando que eu o faria em grupo , então me senti insegura na hora e achei melhor desistir. A agência não tinha me avisado que seria assim. O passeio para o Vale sagrado foi bem pouco aproveitado, passamos muito tempo tanto na loja de pratas, quanto nos quiosques na beira da estrada, no restaurante e na loja de lãs , e assim os passeios que realmente interessavam, pisac, Ollantaytambo e chinchero foram super rápidos, basicamente íamos no lugar, o guia dava uma explicação, olhávamos tudo por conta própria em no máximo 30min e íamos embora, além das pessoas que também atrasavam no retorno, fiquei decepcionada com esse passeio. Não sei se é assim com todos os grupos , mas no fim acho mais vantajoso fazer os passeios individuais se você quiser realmente conhecer e aproveitar os lugares.
