My Why ... Founding Paint and Walk™

I didn’t develop Paint and Walk™ because the world needed another art workshop or even another hike without genuine connection.

I created it because my friends and I needed it.

There was a time I realised life had become… quite full.

Full of responsibility.

Full of noise.

Full of doing what needed to be done yesterday.

And yet something in me kept asking for something simpler.

More beauty, creativity, meaning.

More community, space and outdoor FUN!

More moments that actually felt like me.

Painting in nature became a special place.

No perfection.

Sometimes joyful. Sometimes messy. Sometimes just quiet.

But it gave me something I didn’t realise I’d lost…a sense of myself again.

And over time, I started noticing something else.

So many women around me were feeling the same.

Capable. Strong. Holding everything together… and quietly craving something more meaningful.
