What We're Getting Into:

Our journey kicks off in the magnificent city of Lahore, where history comes alive! We'll be wandering through ancient Mughal forts, marveling at intricate mosques, and then we'll get to experience the electric atmosphere of the Wagah Border Ceremony. Trust me, it’s a spectacle you won't forget!

Then, get ready for a total change of scenery as we hop on a flight to Skardu, the heart of the Karakoram. Imagine lush spring colors, snow-capped peaks, and us trying out some thrilling adventure sports in the Sarfaranga Desert! We'll even chill out at the serene Upper Kachura Lake and explore the peaceful Soq Valley.

But the real magic begins when we head to Fairy Meadows. Picture this: a thrilling jeep ride, a refreshing hike, and then we'll be camping (or rather, staying super comfortably nearby!) right beneath the mighty Nanga Parbat. We’re talking bonfires, starry skies, and memories that will last a lifetime.

Next up, we're off to the breathtaking Hunza Valley! This place is straight out of a postcard. We'll explore the iconic Hussaini Suspension Bridge, gawk at the unique Passu Cones, and find tranquility at Borith Lake. And for those who are up for it, we'll even hike to the incredible Passu Glacier for some truly unforgettable views.

Finally, we'll make our way back through Skardu for one last glimpse before flying to the lively coastal city of Karachi. Here, we'll soak in the vibrant city life, check out the beautiful Mohatta Palace, maybe do a little retail therapy, and most importantly, devour some of the best street food Pakistan has to offer!

We're heading to some incredible high-altitude areas in Skardu and Hunza! While our itinerary is designed for gradual acclimatization, here are the essentials to stay comfortable:

• Take it Slow: No rushing, especially on arrival and during ascents.
• Listen to Your Body: Mild symptoms like headache or fatigue are common. If you feel unwell, tell your Trip Leader immediately.
• We're Prepared: For your safety, we will be carrying portable oxygen canisters.
• Consult Your Doctor: Discuss any concerns or preventative medication (like Diamox) with your physician beforehand.

While you'll have good connectivity in major cities like Lahore and Karachi, be prepared for limited to no Wi-Fi or phone signal once we venture deep into the northern mountain regions like Hunza, Skardu, and especially Fairy Meadows.

This is part of the magic of exploring Pakistan's remote wilderness—a chance to truly unplug, connect with nature, and immerse yourself fully in the experience. We recommend informing loved ones that you may be out of touch for periods.

For your convenience: Our guide already carries both city and mountain SIM cards and can share internet access when and where available. Alternatively, you can purchase an eSIM for broader coverage.

To ensure everyone has an incredible and safe experience on this adventure, it's important that we're all on the same page regarding behavior.

Claire (your host!) and our trip leader reserve the right to cancel a booking or remove any traveler from the trip at any point if their actions, inactions, communication, or any other behavior are deemed a security concern, or if they negatively impact the group dynamic or overall safety of the trip.

If such a situation arises, please understand that no refund or compensation will be provided. Furthermore, future travel services with us may not be offered.

✈️ Flight Cancellations

If a flight is cancelled due to weather or other reasons, we may need to switch to road travel instead. We’ll always aim to include as much of the experience as possible—but please understand that some stops or activities might need to be skipped.

This is part of what makes adventure travel exciting—it’s unpredictable, and it requires a little flexibility. But no matter what, we promise to keep the spirit of the journey alive and make it memorable.

We want your trip to be absolutely perfect! If you have any concerns or a complaint during our adventure, please immediately inform our Trip Leader. They are there to help and will do their best to resolve the issue or find a suitable alternative so you can get back to enjoying your trip. 

We get it—plans can change. If something comes up and you need to cancel your trip, here’s how our cancellation policy works:

🗓 If You Cancel More Than 90 Days Before the Trip

• You’ll get a full refund of everything except the Down Payment.
   
• Please note: we can only offer this refund if your cancellation is made more than 72 hours after we confirmed your booking.
   

🕒 If You Cancel Within 90 Days of the Trip

• We’re not able to offer a refund at this point.
   
• All payments, including the Down Payment and any additional amounts paid, will be non-refundable.

• Unfortunately, we can’t offer any refunds for missed parts of the trip or unused services once the trip has started.

Mid-day: Desert Domination & Lunch Oasis! 

No time to settle in just yet, because adventure calls! Our first stop in Skardu is the mind-bending Sarfaranga Cold Desert! Evening: Bonfire Bliss & Starry Skies! 

As twilight descends upon Fairy Meadows, turning the sky into a canvas of a million stars, we'll gather for a super special treat: a warm, crackling bonfire! 🔥 There’s nothing quite like sharing stories, laughter, and making new friends around a fire under the watchful eye of Nanga Parbat. Wake up to one last magical breakfast view at our Fairy Meadows camp/lodge. 🏕️ Soak it all in, because today, we begin our journey towards new horizons! We'll descend from Fairy Meadows on a lovely hike back to Fairy Point (Tatu Village). Give those knees a break, because after that, it's time for another adrenaline-pumping jeep ride back down the legendary road to Raikot Bridge! 🎢 Hold on tight!

Mid-day: KKH Wonders & Lunch on the Road! 

Once our jeeps deliver us safely back to Raikot Bridge, we'll hop into our comfortable vehicles and begin our scenic drive along the mighty Karakoram Highway (KKH) towards the legendary Hunza Valley! We'll enjoy a packed lunch or stop at a local eatery along the way, keeping our energy levels up as we journey deeper into the mountains.

Afternoon: Welcome to Hunza & Check-in! 

As we approach, the views will shift, and you'll start to see the iconic terraced fields and fruit orchards that signal our arrival in Hunza Valley. We'll make our way to our comfortable Hunza accommodation in or around Karimabad, check in, and perhaps take a moment to refresh and marvel at the stunning peaks surrounding us – including the famous Rakaposhi and Ultar Sar! ✨

We'll head straight to our comfortable new Hunza accommodation in the Upper Hunza region, check in, and get ready for a day of exploration.

This is where the real exploration begins! We'll embark on a relatively short, invigorating hike to reach the glacier itself – it's about an hour to get there. Once we're amidst this frozen giant, we'll have about 30 minutes to soak it all in, capture some truly epic photos and videos, and marvel at its raw power. 📸🧊 Then, it's about an hour's hike back, making for a total of approximately 3 hours for this exhilarating glacier activity. Afternoon: Skardu Bound & Desert Arrival! 

After our Gilgit pit stop, we'll continue our incredible drive, cutting through more of the majestic Gilgit-Baltistan landscape as we make our way closer to Skardu. Our destination isn't just Skardu itself, but the unique wonderland of the Katpana Cold Desert! Upon arrival, we'll head straight to our super cool glamping site nestled amidst the dunes. Late Afternoon/Evening: Desert Magic & Mountain Views! 

Once we've checked into our luxurious glamps, prepare to be absolutely enchanted!
