I recently traveled with The Call In Sick Travel Group to Johannesburg, South Africa, and Zanzibar, and it was truly the trip of a lifetime. Our host, Neecee, took care of every single detail from the planned meals to the excursions so all we had to do was show up and enjoy ourselves. I made so many friends, even though I was a solo traveler.

We also had a local host, Ezekiel, who made sure everything ran smoothly on the ground, and a photographer, Danny, who captured all of our memories beautifully. The entire team went above and beyond to make sure everyone felt safe, cared for, and had an amazing experience.

I can’t recommend Call In Sick enough. If you’re thinking about joining one of their trips, do it you’ll have an unforgettable time. I would absolutely travel with them again!

Black Boat Weekend "2025" (Second Hotel)

Had a great time with wonderful people. It was well organized, great music, enjoyed the venue.

This is my 3rd year attending this event and let me say it here, one for the Father, one for the SON, and one for the Holy Spirit LOL!   You can't help but feel your spirit refreshed due to the love, community, and flat out FUN experienced at this event!    From the moment you step foot on location it is absolute love........ first timer, traveling along, or one of the vets this is now an event I will never miss!!!    The team goes beyond the call of duty in planning events, being attentive to needs, and keeping the experience affordable and tailored to any age range or social class!   Pure BLACK EXCELLENCE!!!!!!     

I'm already preparing to register for year 4!!!   We are family now!!!!!!

As a first timer coming to this event, I must say they did not disappoint!! It was Epic!! I had such a fabulous time meeting new people and getting to see all my cousins again. I was a bit nervous about being a boat for 4 hours especially not being able to swim, but everyone made me so comfortable and even took care of me to help me calm down so I could enjoy myself. I feel like I am a part of another family now🥰 The food and drinks were delicious😋 and the DJs were Amazing!!! DJ SamIAm and DJ Mr. Rodgers need their own big boat!!! Cause they kept the parties going!!! I can't wait to return next year for more fun!! 

My trip was amazing and looking forward to doing it again next year.

Thursday Night Rooftop BBW

I love the rooftop, it was a whole vibe and a great start to black boat weekend. I got a chance to connect with my cousins before all the shenanigans popped off so I loved it!

As always I had a time! The CIS team always provides an enjoyable experience. I'll always be a part of the framily.

I always have an amazing time when I travel with Call In Sick. I don't think I can say a bad thing about the entire event from beginning to the end.

The only issue I heard discussed among several guest is the information that was put out being confusing.  It "appears" that multiple staff members were giving information but it changed slightly depending on who did the post.  As an example, the PJ party....People didn't know if it was sexy lingerie or not.  I actually downloaded the packet the first day and compared it to several post that was made about some events.  There were some slight differences.  As a matter of fact, staff had to clarify the boat party about thongs or topless.  It "appeared" as if it was mandatory and staff corrected it.  The jungle party, I referred back to the packet and saw that white was one of the colors suggested.  If staff clarifications are kept in the FEATURED tab, it may be easier for folks to find so that they aren't constantly asking questions for the same issue.  

We had a great time! I love vending at this event each year. Great people, fun events and experiences! Will definitely be back next year.

CIS Italy Luxury Experience

I had a great time in Italy. I do just have just a few notes on a few things concerning time management. The time did keep changing quite a bit to meet in the lobby for certain things. For example, I was told by the host that we were meeting in the lobby for the farewell dinner at 8:30 instead of 7:30 to give people more time, so I kept my photo shoot time at 5:00 p.m since I thought I was going to be back on time. The day of the dinner it went back to 7:30 with no kind of explanation. I still made the dinner because I just caught a ride to the restaurant instead of going back to the hotel, but that could have been better. The one other thing was the planning coordination could have been better as well. The blue grotto tour was added for an additional 20 euros but unfortunately we didn't get to do it because we were on the boat for a long time and people started to get sick. I think that could have been avoided if somebody would have coordinated that we would do the tour as soon as we arrive instead of sitting on the boat for an hour and a half and people would have not gotten sick. Maybe saved a slot for us for a certain time to do the tour perhaps. While it wasn't a huge deal to me, I know there were some people that were really looking forward to doing the tour, and if that was going to be added to the itinerary that should have been planned accordingly in my opinion. Those were just some notes I had but it was a gray trip and I had an amazing time and I really appreciate everything the host did to make this trip possible. 

This was my 1st time with CIS, I had an amazing time. I was truly shocked,by the welcoming atmosphere the group gives out. Especially not knowing anyone and feeling like been knowing for years. The tours was nice as well. Thanks again had a blast

I had a great time!! I met new friends, ate good food and the activities were top tier!! The organizers very professional and had everything set up, from our transport, to the beautiful hotel to the activities they had set up for us. I would definitely recommend them.

It was a nice trip overall. The one thing that I would suggest would be choosing a different hotel if you go back. The hotel was nice but not suitable for CIS shenanigans.
