On this tour, you can see multiple regions of Peru and some of its most iconic sites while taking your time walking through the villages and archaeological sites. Transfer to the airport and flight to Arequipa. On arrival, we'll have a brief welcoming reception and transfer to your hostel. In the afternoon, we'll show you around town with a city tour.

We will pick you up from your hostel to begin our adventure to the one of the deepest canyons of the world. We'll take the route from Yura, bordering the snow-covered Chachani Mountain towards Cañahuas Pampas. We stop at Aguada Blanca National Park to see the habitat of the beautiful South American cameloidaes, vicuñas, alpacas, waris and llamas.

After you see Tocra Lake and pass the crater of an inactive volcano, Chucura, we'll stop at a panoramic viewpoint. From here we will appreciate a great part of the western mountain range, where you can truly appreciate the Pre-Inca farming terraces. You'll arrive in Chivay, where you can enjoy the thermal baths, “La Calera,”($4). In the evening, we will get together for dinner (not included) accompanied by a folkloric show; be ready for the Peruvian Andean dances!

After an early breakfast, we'll drive via private transport to the viewpoint called “Cruz Del Condor.” From this National Park you will have a very beautiful view of the Colca Canyon. This is also the place where you'll spot flying condors flying close by. Just near this area your tour guide will show you the pre-inca tombs hanging in the mountains. On our return we will stop in the towns of Pinchollo, Maca and Yanque, with their beautiful colonial churches, as well as the viewpoints of Choquetico and Antahuilque, from where we will have a look at the Andenes farming platforms of the valley, and tombs in Pre-Incas scale models. Then we will head back to Arequipa and take you to the bus station.

We will pick you up from the bus station and transfer you to the pier to take a boat for our first adventure, The Uros floating islands. We will have the opportunity to walk on the reed islands and interact with the natives. After that we will have a wonderful 3 hour boat ride to get to Amantani Island, where we will spend the rest of the day and night. Upon arrival, a group of native families will meet us at the pier, and take us to their homes for lodging and lunch. In the afternoon you will have the opportunity to hike to the top of the mountain (4,150 meters) to see the Temples of the Pachamama and Pachatata and enjoy the traditional customs of the island people.

There are stunning views of the Lake from this lookout point and an amazing sunset. Soon after nightfall, we'll meet our local families, and go home for dinner. Food and authentic music prepared and performed by your designated family.

After breakfast, we'll walk down to the harbor to take the boat towards Taquile Island, where we'll enjoy the impressive views of Lake Titicaca. Taquile is a traditional Quechua speaking community, and full of ancient agricultural terraces. The weaving tradition is part of the culture and goes back to early civilizations; all weaving is done by hand. At the village, you will have free time to explore around on your own, and you can have lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch we will take the return trip to Puno. You will have time to walk around Puno’s main plaza and have dinner before taking the bus to Cusco. I

You will be transferred from Cusco bus station to the hostel after a brief welcoming session. Cusco is not just a simple town; it is a place of man-made beauty. Some consider it a time machine of sorts because it is the oldest inhabited city in the western Hemisphere, now called the Archaeological Capital of America, and it is one of the new Wonders of the World. In the afternoon, the Imperial Cusco City tour starts.

You will visit four archaeological sites: Sacsayhuaman, where the Incas showed to the conquistadors the power of their Empire by building an incredible place using huge stones; Q’enqo, a ceremonial center; Pucapucara, a control point that served as a kind of customs office; and Tambomachay, a sacred place where Incas worshiped the water. Today we will see the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Along the way, we will stop to take in the iconic view of the Urubamba River that snakes its way through the valley. Your journey continues to the small village of Pisac, with a colorful handicraft market, and the archeological complex of Pisac, where your guide will explain the history and Inca architecture of this wonderful site.

Next stop: Urubamba. Here, we will have lunch at a restaurant that specializes in the regional cuisine. Then we will head to Ollantaytambo, known as the living Inca city because it has kept the originality of the Inca style. An impressive archeological site can be seen here, made up of an enormous sculpture of the main Incan God called Wiracocha, carved into the mountainside. You will take the train from Ollantaytambo to Aguas Calientes, where we will transfer you to your hostel.

Your guide will pick you up and take you up the winding road to Machu Picchu, the Lost City of the Incas. Machu Picchu will astonish you with its terraces, ceremonial shrines, steps and urban areas. After a guided visit, you will have time to explore the fortress and have lunch at one of the restaurants in the area. At the arranged time, you will take the train back to Cusco to be transferred to the hostel.
