Leaving Quito at 8:00am, we will head east towards our destination Papallacta. In Papallacta, visitors take in the awe inspiring view of glacial canyons littered with crop fields, moors and scattered patches of Andean forest. We will stop to explore the forests and learn about its ecology, then move on to the Cloud Forest to observe its many birds and exotic flowers. After a lunch in the city of Papallacta itself, we’ll view of the beautiful Papallacta Lake, and visit the world renowned Papallacta thermal springs. Following a refreshing dip in Papallacta's thermal waters we return to Quito at about 6:00pm.
