Embark on an unforgettable journey along the Paraguay River, a haven of natural beauty and an extraordinary showcase of wildlife. This tour promises to fascinate you at every turn, immersing you in a landscape that seamlessly blends lush wetlands, serene riverbanks, and enchanting forests.

The tour is designed to provide immersive experience, allowing you to connect deeply with nature. Glide along the river in a comfortable boat, where expert guides will point out the diverse wildlife and share fascinating insights about the region's ecosystems. Whether you are a bird enthusiast, a photography lover, or simply someone seeking tranquility, this tour offers something special for everyone.

You will be picked up from your hotel early in the morning for a journey to Estación Puerto Olivares, located about 50 kilometers from Asunción—a drive that takes approximately one hour.

At the farm, we will begin exploring the fascinating wildlife found in both natural and cattle ranching ecosystems. The journey will take us through stunning landscapes of grasslands, palm savannahs, and forested islands, spanning approximately 10 kilometers of dirt roads, where we will be fully immersed in the experience.

Upon arriving at the house at Puerto Olivares, we’ll take some time to enjoy a hearty breakfast or a selection of coffee and snacks, depending on our schedule, before continuing to explore the vibrant natural ecosystems that surround the house.

Based on the number of participants, we will later set out on a small boat or pontoon boat to explore either the Manduvira River, the Paraguay River, or both, depending on their conditions. Over the course of 3 to 4 hours, we will immerse ourselves in the natural beauty of the rivers, observing the rich variety of birds, mammals, and plant life that thrive in the area. Lunch and snacks will be thoughtfully planned, either served on the pontoon boat or along the serene riverbank, where we can take a moment to fully absorb the tranquil beauty of the surroundings. Depending on our timing, we may even be fortunate enough to witness the enchanting hues of the sunset as it paints the sky over the expansive waters of the Paraguay River.

After sundown, we’ll embark on an exhilarating night safari through the farm’s diverse ecosystems, offering an exciting opportunity to encounter an even broader array of wildlife.

Your second day of adventure will start with a delightful breakfast at the lodge, showcasing local flavors to prepare you for the day's activities. From there, we’ll venture deeper into the farm's forest trails, exploring by foot and vehicle through vibrant marshlands and towering forests. Along the way, you'll encounter remarkable wildlife and gain insight into the intricate balance of these ecosystems.

Lunch will be enjoyed in a tranquil spot, either under the shade of trees or in an open clearing with a view of the river—a perfect moment to relax and soak in the natural beauty. In the afternoon, you’ll embark on a guided kayaking experience along the quiet, serene branches of the Manduvira River. Here, you can paddle at your own pace, immersing yourself in the pristine surroundings.

The day will conclude with a scenic drive along the 10 km of dirt roads, offering more opportunities to spot wildlife and bird species as we make our way back to the main road to Asunción.
