West Virginia is among the top 5 most haunted states in the US and offers more than its share of paranormal activity.

Travel the northern loop of the West Virginia Paranormal Trail in a private luxury coach while visiting destinations chosen for their bazaar history and the paranormal activity that lingers on.  

The northern trail boards in Huntington WV and embarks on a two-day trip into the world of the Paranormal.  We will travel to see many paranormal locations.  We may even stay in a haunted hotel. 

Please understand that we have an age restriction on this tour. We will welcome guests 16 and older w/parent or guardians on the trip with them. The venues that we will be visiting have some strict age restrictions for the safety of everyone. We will have other tours in the future to welcome those that are younger. Thank you for understanding. 

Activity levels have not been established yet, however, I am aware that we will be walking quite a bit. We will also be climbing many stairs. We will have to keep a tight schedule due to the many activities /destinations planned for our trip. 

Some Terms and Conditions of Gold Shield Transportation

In order to ensure Gold Shield Transportation maintains the highest levels of professional services and safety there is a suggested gratuity for driver (s) and general guidelines/rules that must be adhered to. The following activities and/or items are not allowed inside of any vehicles: underage alcohol consumption, illegal drugs, any and all criminal activity, pornographic materials or acts, and disrespectful or discourteous behavior. If further clarification is needed, please contact Gold Shield Transportation.  Gold Shield Transportation puts your safety first. Additional policies are:

1. All vehicles owned and/or operated by Gold Shield Transportation are designated as NON-SMOKING, a $350 fee will be charged if guests smoke in a  Gold Shield-owned vehicle.

2. All vehicles are thoroughly cleaned and checked for damage prior to each engagement. 

3. Any time past the arranged drop-off time will be an additional charge in 30-minute increments for all reservations. Transfer/point trips are given a 15-minute grace period from the scheduled pick-up time, if client is not in the vehicle within the 15-minute grace period the trip will change to an hourly reservation.

4. Client agrees that Gold Shield Transportation shall not be held liable for any damages arising out of inability to perform due to inclement weather, mechanical or electrical difficulties, delays due to any type of traffic conditions, or any unforeseen events beyond the reasonable control during normal driving conditions.

5. Gold Shield Transportation cannot be held liable for items left in any vehicle. Please inspect the vehicle prior to dismissal. 

6. Gold Shield Transportation reserves the right to immediately terminate the job, for all parties in attendance for the use of illegal substances and/or any illegal activity, or any guest is a danger to themself or others. There will be no refund of any monies to the client, due to the negligent behavior of the passengers.

7. NO ONE UNDER 21 IS ALLOWED TO CONSUME ALCOHOL IN OUR VEHICLES

8. Client understands that Gold Shield Transportation shall not be responsible for any items left in the vehicle or the safekeeping of any item (s).

9. UNUSUAL CLEANING: If, during or after the Transportation Service the Service Provider is required to extend a greater than normal amount of time and materials cleaning the Equipment properly due to acts of the Passengers, The Company, at its option, may require additional cost to cover each additional time and material.

Many of our tours are family-friendly, however,  please check information on some tours for age restrictions. If there are no restrictions listed, children ages 6 and older are welcome on our tours.

Credit, Debit, or check is accepted & can be paid on our website or over the phone.

Deposits are due in full when booking any tour.

Deposits are Non-Refundable/No Exceptions.

Final Payment is due in full 60 days prior to travel on all trips.

**Cancellation/Refund Policy**

$150.00 Deposit is Non-Refundable   No Exceptions

Your seat can be transferred 1 time without penalty, anytime after that, any transfers will be $25.00 fee paid at the time of transfer. 

To receive any reimbursement of the Final Balance, You will be responsible for finding a replacement for your seat if you are to cancel.

No Refunds will be granted, at any time, due to changes in COVID-19 mandates or numbers. You are responsible for monitoring these and plan accordingly. 

You are responsible for the amount of fun that you have on the trip. We will not refund any money due to you not liking,  not enjoying, or not having fun on the tour you attend. 

Our tour will be canceled due to bad weather unless our motorcoach company says the roads are too bad to travel on. If that occurs, you will receive a refund of the monies paid minus the deposit. The venues will have been paid the deposits that are required and the deposit will not be available to be given.

All requests for cancellations, transfers, or Getaway Adventure Tours Credit must be sent via email to: Lisaj@getawayadventures.net      

If you have not received an email to confirm your request, please call 740-945-9494 and leave a message. We will get back to you asap.

 If you do not check in at least 10 minutes before departure, Getaway Adventure Tours will assume a no-show to which you will not receive a refund.

If some reason, Getaway Adventure Tours cancels the tour, you will receive a refund or Getaway Adventure Tours credit for a future trip. Credits will expire 12 months after such credit is received. If credit has expired and has not been redeemed, no refund will be given. It will be your responsibility to keep track of.

 **Covid Policies**

By riding with Getaway Adventure Tours, you assume liability for risk or exposure to Covid or any complications from Covid-19 or any other pathogens and illnesses.
We do not require a vaccine or mask to join us on any of our tours. Some of the destinations we travel to and the states we travel through do have their own requirements. Getaway Adventure Tours will not ask for the status of vaccination and you will not be required to show proof of it.
You will be responsible to research Covid requirements for any & all destinations you choose to reserve with us.

**Getaway Adventure Tours Vehicle Rules**

Smoking, Alcohol, Foul Language, or any illegal drugs are Not Permitted, at any time, on the vehicle provided by Getaway Adventure Tours. You will have some time on your own at each location to take time to smoke.
Many people are sensitive to strong scents, such as scented sanitizers, lotions, hair products, and perfumes. Please refrain from using anything as such while on the motorcoach and directly before you get on. These strong scents can cause severe nausea, headaches, and vomiting. We want everyone to be able to enjoy their trip.

**Be Prepared**

Bring an extra change of clothing and extra money for your room fee (if needed) in the event of a delay or unplanned overnight stay. You will be responsible for your own room, board, food, and any other expenses that might occur. Getaway Adventure Tours will not be responsible for any expenses that occur with such an event.
Ask me about my unplanned stay in Lexington, Ky because of snow and road closures due to wrecks on the road.

**Delays, Breakdowns, Road Conditions, Weather, and other **

Getaway Adventure Tours is not liable for delays caused by accidents, breakdowns, road conditions, weather, or any other conditions that are not controllable by man. Our arrival times are estimated times and will change due to traffic flow and conditions. In the event of an emergency, Getaway Adventure Tours reserves the right to transfer passengers from one vehicle to another.
Getaway Adventure Tours reserve the right to refuse to provide transportation to a person under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or if the driver or tour guide, in their best judgment, deems the passenger to present a risk to the security or health of the driver or other passengers. No Refunds will be given in the case of refusal. If you are refused at a location, then you will be responsible for finding your own way home and any costs that are related to that.
If for any reason, you find yourself in a medical emergency and you should happen to go to a hospital and must be admitted, you will be responsible for finding your way home. This is an unfortunate event, but Getaway Adventure Tours will not be held responsible if such a thing were to take place.   (This is where a Travel Insurance policy would be useful if the proper policy is chosen. Getaway Adventure Tours is not responsible for your choice of policy. Please read the details and make sure you choose the policy that is right for you.)   

 If you choose to not purchase Travel Insurance, you must sign a waiver that releases Getaway Adventure Tours of any losses that would otherwise be covered.
