This trip might still be my favorite—perhaps because it was my first with World Vegan Travel, or perhaps because of the amazing people on the tour. As a solo traveler, I loved that most of the group was also traveling solo. I had been to Vietnam before, but never as a vegan or with a tour group, and this experience easily surpassed my previous visits. I can’t recommend this trip enough! The variety of experiences was incredible—from riverboat trips to mausoleums, visiting animal rescue centers, cooking lessons, dancing with the locals, exploring ancient citadels, and even touring a prison museum! And the food—wow! So fresh, so flavorful, and absolutely delicious. You won’t have a dull moment, whether it’s the activities or the food keeping you engaged. Chi, our incredible local tour guide, was simply the best! I truly hope to see her again—whether in Vietnam or somewhere else in the world. World Vegan Travel tours are worth every cent. Every detail is taken care of, allowing you to sit back, relax, and fully immerse yourself in the sights, the food, and the company of wonderful people.

This trip was nothing short of extraordinary—truly the journey of a lifetime! If it’s not already on your bucket list, it absolutely should be. The team from WVT was excellent, handling every detail seamlessly—even arranging for a personal assistant to escort us through immigration! All we had to do was show up and enjoy the incredible journey ahead. As a foodie, I believe that great cuisine is an essential part of any travel experience, and this trip did not disappoint. The food was frequent, plentiful, and absolutely delicious—especially at the One&Only resorts, where the dining was simply outstanding. Speaking of the resorts, the accommodations were breathtaking. Both One&Only properties were set in idyllic locations, surrounded by lush, stunning landscapes. The service at each resort was exemplary, with friendly and attentive staff who made the stay even more special. Every detail was taken care of—even our hiking boots were washed and returned the same day! At our first One&Only location, we were graced by the presence of several very polite monkeys—quite the contrast to my experiences with monkeys in Southeast Asia! These little visitors simply went about their business, completely unfazed by humans. Of course, the true highlight of the trip was the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to get up close to the majestic gorillas. Words can hardly do the experience justice—it was deeply moving, mesmerizing, and unforgettable. It’s something you have to experience yourself to truly understand. A real privilege that I will never forget. However, it wasn’t just the gorillas that left a lasting impression on me. The people of Rwanda were equally remarkable. Much like my experience on my WVT Vietnam trip, I found them to be incredibly warm, welcoming, and united in a way that was truly inspiring. The world could learn a lot about forgiveness and unity from the Rwandans. This journey exceeded every expectation, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique, soul-enriching adventure. Put it on your bucket list today!

Not enough space here to express how wonderful this adventure to Thailand with World Vegan Travel was. Our second time traveling with WVT and it was as amazing as we knew it would be. Everything taken care of with incredible attention to detail; we didn’t have a worry in the world for the entire trip. Brighde and Sebastian are true professionals who also know how to join in on the fun. Looking forward to the next journey with them. Highly recommended!

The best of Thailand was on my bucket list. After visiting Bali, India I really wanted to go to Thailand in 2020. But the world closed down. So when WVT announced Thailand, I was super excited. This was my second trip with WVT. They did not disappoint. Everything was well planned out but also giving us enough downtime to relax. I really enjoyed our interactions with the temples & the monks. The food was so delicious. Brighde & Seb are just a joy to be around & I look forward to many more trips with them.
