WHAT THE HELL IS A "PASTA SAFARI"?

This is going to be fun! We are going to ride around the best and most authentic roads and landscapes of Central Italy, far from the chaos of the cities for a full immersion in the local culture. Let's have fun with the best motorcycles of the market, enjoying food, people and history toghether.

WHY PASTA? Easy, the regions we'll be riding through are the places where the most important pasta dishes of italian tradition were born... Do you want to taste all of them? You can, for sure.

Participants can join the tour with two different options:


  1. Join the tour with your own motorcycle

  2. Join the tour with one of our rental bikes, to choose from 3 lists:

  • Tier 1 List​ - Premium Models

   BMW R1300GS or Ducati Multistrada V4

  • Tier 2 List - Middle size models

   BMW R850/900GS or Ducati Multistrada V2

  • Tier 3 List - A2 Licence models 

   Smaller displacement models on request

  

If the listed models are not available for the chosen dates, a motorcycle from the same category may be provided as an alternative.

Day 1

Rome

The tour begins in Rome, where participants will meet in the afternoon at the hotel for the welcome briefing. 

​​

  • Participants with their own bikes, will get directly to the Hotel

  • Participants coming with airplane, will have a shuttle from the airport to the hotel

This first day is designed to get to know the group and have a proper "taste" of Italy, with a tour in the city center and a welcome dinner in one of the most authentic popular restaurant of the Eternal City.


Day 2

Rome to L'Aquila

A shuttle will bring us to the motorcycle pick up point and we'll be having a short briefing before we roll.

The first full riding day takes us across the Apennine mountains, stepping in Abruzzo region through one of the most incredible hillclimb racing roads. We'll visit hidden medieval towns, including the famous castle of Rocca Calascio.

In L'Aquila we will be dining in an historical "trattoria" to have a true taste of italian regional cousine.


Day 3

L'Aquila to Norcia

Things are getting serious!

The second day of riding will be across one of the most incredible landscapes of whole Italy, the plateu of Campo Imperatore. Of course the whole route will be a nonstop series of jawdropping beautiful places until our arrival in San Gemini

In this location, speaking about pasta, you will "get you hands dirty".


Day 4

Norcia to San Gemini

We step in Umbria!

You'll be having one of the best rides of your life through twisty and beautiful montains and hills. We will reach the town of Spoleto and we'll be arriving in the afternoon in an incredible location where we will spend the evening dinner and the night.

There's option for relax in the pool or a cuddly Spa treatment that we think you will not miss for sure.​


Day 5

San Gemini to Capalbio

Tuscany is around the corner, so we get there!

We will cross the beautiful and sweet hills of the Maremma region to reach the western part of our tour, the Stunning peninsula of the Monte Argentario, where we can even have a swim in the crystal clear waters of the mediterranean coast after visiting the incredible ghost town of Civita di Bagnoregio e and the beautiful Pitigliano.

Of course there's more... because an incredible sunset food experience is waiting for you in Capalbio.


Day 6

Capalbio to Rome

Our adventure is almost over, but there's time for some more fun on the road! The way back to Rome will be throug the tirrenian coast and the hilly Maremma Laziale. We will cross beautiful seaside landscapes and stunning twisty roads. 

After our last lunch stop we can visit one of the most relevant aircraft museums of Italian history. 

We'll be dropping back the motorcycles later in the afternoon and we'll be crying and hugging together before saying goodbye.
