THIS IS A CARBON NEUTRAL TRIP

We care deeply about our planet, as we know you do so we partner with companies that compensate for all the CO2 emissions our travelers produce during their trips when traveling by land. When you book with us, the carbon emissions from your trip are 100% offset.
We are working to create more sustainable, responsible and meaningful ways of exploring South America.

We work with locals. We believe that travel has the power to contribute to the sustainable development of the host communities we visit and can improve their livelihoods.

      That’s why our partners:

      • Work with more than 50 small and family-run operators.
      • Always prefer independent local accommodation over chain hotels.
      • We love sharing our local culture in a respectful way.
      • We encourage tourists to shop ethically and consciously and to choose street vendors and artisans over mass-produced tourist shops.
      • This way, you can be sure that at least 80% of what our clients pay, goes directly to the community.
It feels good to do it right.

      What to pack

      • Bring a variety of clothes

Because Patagonia makes up a huge stretch of geography,  with a wide range of climates, depending on where you go. If you are traveling all over the country, be prepared to rewear a lot of clothes and to bring layers so that you can adjust accordingly for the weather.

      • Bring comfortable clothes

Make  sure the majority of the clothes you bring are comfortable. You will be traveling, sightseeing, and walking a lot. In different parts of your trip, you’ll be walking on different kinds of soil.

      • Bring Sunglasses & Sun Hat

Sunglasses (we reccomend polarized lenses) are a must: the sun is very strong down here, and if you don’t have eye protection you will spend a lot of time squinting. Don’t only protect your eyes from the sun, don’t forget your sunscreen, and a sun hat.

      • Adapter and/or converter for outlets.

Be sure to remember to bring an “international plug adapter” to charge your electronics when packing for Argentina and Chile. In Argentina the three-wire type “I” plug with rectangular prongs is used. In some places you’ll find a combination of a C and I plug in Argentina, but it’s best to bring an adapter to be sure.

      • Bring a small bag or backpack

The safest possible way to carry your valuables when you’re sightseeing and walking around is to always  wear your backpack or purse  in front of you, especially in crowded places such as public transport and markets.

      Itinerary

      Day 1 - Buenos Aires
      Bienvenidos a BA!
      • Transfer from Ezeiza airport to hotel, private service with driver only
        Welcome to Argentina!

Upon your arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel and have the rest of the day to enjoy at your own pace.

Buenos Aires is a marvelous and furious cosmopolitan city, full of colors and different kinds of architecture. Capital of Argentina and described as the Paris of South America, Buenos Aires proudly embraces this title, as well as showing off plenty of its own culture!

Argentines are usually eager to host visitors: if you walk the streets with a map, someone will surely stop and ask if you need directions. That’s our spirit! So, for this first day, feel free to wander the cobblestone streets lined with outdoor cafes, enjoy the mouthwatering aroma of prized Argentine beef sizzling on an open “parrilla” (barbecue) and browse the local antique and artisan markets that offer plenty of bargain shopping. And to travel deeper and have a firm grip of the Argentine spirit, find the perfect leather jacket or handbag (Buenos Aires is home to some excellent local designers) and explore the colorful Palermo Soho neighborhoods.
