The main season for this rafting expedition is May to November, where weather is perfect! Predictably warm, dry and sunny; and water levels are prime.
In the shoulder seasons, May and November, water levels may fluctuate between low and high, and it's possible (though still quite unlikely) to have a rain system come through.
It is possible to travel between December-April, however water levels can be very high, and weather less predictable (storms are more likely in the wet season). For this reason, trips in this highwater season are only open to participants who are strong swimmers and experienced in the outdoors.
