Daily Itenary

Day 0: Arrival

Arrival to Loutraki. Fixing your bikes and meet your guides. Safety briefing. A welcome dinner for all the group

Day 1: Loutraki → Nafplio (D: 75.9 km – Elev.g: 975 m)

A smooth costal to valley ride from Loutraki to Nafplio , following scenic Gulf views , quiet inland stretches and the historic approach into the Argolic capital.

Day 2: Nafplio → Leonidio (D: 83,1 km – Elev. g: 1070 m)

A picturesque ride from Nafplio to Leonidio , tracing quiet coastal roads and dramatic Cliffside sections alongthe ArgolicGulf before entering the heart of Tsakonia.

Day 3: Leonidio → Monemvasia (D: 100.8 km – Elev.g: 1868m)

A captivating coastal journey from Leonidio to Monemvasia, weaving through seaside cliffs , traditional villages, and sweeping views of the Myrtoan Sea before reaching the iconic castele rock.

Day 4: Monemvasia (Free Day)

A relaxing rest day in Monemvasia , alloweing riders to unwind , explore the medieval town , enjoy local cuisine and take in the stunning sea and castle views.

Day 5: Monemvasia → Neapoli → Elaia (D: 65.3 km – Elev.g: 1053 m)

A scenic ride from Monemvasia to Neapoli following quiet coastal and inland roads through olive groves and traditional villages, arriving in the charming town of Elia.

Day 6: Elaia → Gythio → Areopoli D:65.8 km – Elev.g: 875m)

A varoed route from Elia to Gythio and onward to Areopoli, combining coastal stretches, rolling countryside and traditional Mani villages while approaching to Areopoli

Day 7: Areopoli → Kalamata (D:80.8 km – Elev.g: 1060m)

Climb through the rugged Taygetos range and after a long scenic descend towards the fertile Messinian valley and the seaside city of Kalamata.

Day 8: Kalamata → Methoni (D: 80.8 km – Elev.g: 1060m)

A coastal ride from Kalamata to Methoni , passing through serene seaside villages and scenic shoreline roads before arriving at the iconi Methoni castle.

Day 9: Methoni → Pylos → Kalamata (D: 64.2 km – Elev.g: 867 m)

A scenic loop from Methoni to Pylos , following coastal and coyntryside roads , before returning to Kalamata with views of the Messinian Gulf and historic sites along the way.

How to reach Loutraki

Loutraki is one of the most easily accessible destinations in southern Greece, located just one hour from Athens. Below you will find the main ways to reach the town before starting your cycling adventure.

1. Via Athens International Airport (ATH):
Most international visitors arrive in Greece through Athens. From Athens Airport, Loutraki can be reached easily by car, private transfer, or public transport.

2. By Car or Private Transfer:
Driving from Athens or Athens Airport to Loutraki takes approximately 1–1.15 hours (about 85 km).The route is fully on a modern highway with smooth driving conditions and is ideal for guests traveling with bikes or extra equipment.

3. By Intercity Bus (KTEL):
Frequent buses operate from Athens (Kifisos Bus Station) to Loutraki.The journey duration is approximately 1.5 hours, making this a reliable and affordable option for travelers.

4. By Train (Suburban Railway & Connections):
Loutraki can be reached via suburban railway from Athens to Corinth, followed by a short local transfer to Loutraki.This option is suitable for travelers who prefer rail transport combined with a short road transfer.

5. Minibus or Taxi Transfer:
Private minibus and taxi transfers are available from Athens, Athens Airport, and Corinth.This option offers door-to-door service, flexibility with luggage and bike bags, and is ideal for small groups, families, or guests traveling with cycling equipment.

6. By Car from Other Peloponnese Cities:
Loutraki is well connected by road with Corinth, Nafplio, Kalamata, and other parts of the Peloponnese, making it an excellent meeting point for multi-day cycling routes.

Useful Tips for Cyclists
Bringing Your Own Bike: Airline bike transport rules may vary, so always check bicycle policies before booking your flight.
Transporting Bikes by Bus or Train: Space is often limited, so advance communication with transport providers is recommended.

Choose and rent your bike for the whole week. High-quality, fully serviced carbon road bikes. Basic repair kit and fully techincal support throughout your week.

A valid passport is required for all non-EU visitors.
EU citizens may travel using their national ID card.

Travel Insurance:

Comprehensive travel insurance is mandatory for the duration of your holiday.
We strongly advise choosing a policy that includes medical cover and trip cancellation protection.

Weather conditions may vary depending on the season of your tour, so we recommend checking the forecast before traveling.
