About this trip

After visiting Peru 9 times for a Safe Water Project I managed and experiencing the Sacred Valley & MachuPicchu in 2016, it is time for me to take you with me, so that YOU can treat yourself to one of the most unforgettable experiences of your life.

Experience the beauty & magic that Peru has to offer with so much history, amazing food and culture.

Arrive to Lima, Peru by Saturday, 4/21/2018 & spend the first two days exploring the city, culture & wonderful Peruvian cuisine & history. Followed by 6 days visiting the Sacred Valley, Machu Picchu & Cusco.

This trip includes:

-Fly to Cusco from Lima on Monday and stay in the Sacred Valley for one night before heading to Machu Picchu. Confirming hotel in Ollantaytambo (where we will visit the ruins too)

-Take train to Aguas Caliente (Machu Picchu town) and spend two nights there.

-Visit the magic Machu Picchu ruins. Pending availability, we could reserve our entrance with the mountain hike (about 3 hours total) to Wayna Picchu or Machu Picchu.

-Head back towards Cusco to visit more of the Sacred Valley once your body has acclimated to the altitude (Cusco is at a higher altitude than Machu Picchu area).

-Spend the last 2 nights in Cusco, discovering this amazing city.

We will stay in Miraflores, a town that is safe for us to walk around and very close to the view of the ocean.

We will explore the capital of Peru, a city founded since 1535.

We'll visit the Plaza de Armas, Plaza San Martín, la Plaza del Congreso, Palacio de Justicia, and more.

We'll enjoy a meal at one of the most beautiful places we've discovered in Lima (Huaca Pucllana)

Dear all at Sol Axe Thank you for your hard work in putting this together. It was amazing! Eva
Wonderful! I enjoyed the location of the beautiful Bodhi Tree Yoga Resort in Nosara, Costa Rica. The all inclusive amenities (i.e. prepared meals, beach towels, laundry service, etc) enhanced the stay. The courteous and attentive staff also heightened the retreat experience. Much love and respect to Andreina, Mary and Elika, the instructors who coordinated the retreat. The ladies were phenomenal! The classes that I participated in were rigorous and challenging. They met my expectations. The class schedule and excursions were posted daily on the white board, this helped with logistics and planning. It was a wonderful group of people on a very memorable trip.
It was an amazing experience! The organizers were great, the fellow adventurers were also wonderful! The accommodations, classes, food, excursions were all top notch!! It was a wonderful experience and I would definitely do it all over again!!
I almost don't want to post this so people don't find out how awesome this is and it gets sold out next year. I am not sure I could have had more fun. I took advantage of all the classes, spent time meeting new people and basically said "yes" to everything. It was well organized and laid back at the same time. The hotel and the food was great. The people were lovely and I learned to love Zumba. So great, can not wait until 2018.
