🛬 DAY 1 — Arrival in Cusco → Transfer to the Sacred Valley

Upon arrival at Alejandro Velasco Astete Airport, private transfer to the Sacred Valley (Urubamba), a lower-altitude valley ideal for acclimatization. Scenic landscapes, farming terraces and snow-capped peaks unfold along the route. Afternoon at leisure and overnight at Andean Wings Valley Hotel.

Begin exploring the Sacred Valley with a guided visit to Moray, a masterful Inca agricultural laboratory made of circular terraces. Continue to the Maras Salt Mines, where nearly 3,000 salt pools have been in use since pre-Inca times. End in Chinchero, known for its colonial church and its traditional textile workshops. Today's route reveals some of the Sacred Valley’s most important cultural sites. Visit the living Inca village and fortress of Ollantaytambo, followed by the immersive Inkariy Museum, showcasing pre-Columbian civilizations of Peru with high-quality scenography. Continue to Pisac, famous for its archaeological complex and colorful artisan market. Transfer to Cusco for overnight at Hotel Abittare.

🏰 DAY 5 — Cusco City Tour: Qorikancha & the 4 Archaeological Sites

After lunch, embark on an evening boat ride in search of caimans and nocturnal wildlife along the Madre de Dios River. Overnight in the jungle lodge.

🦜 DAY 8 — Macaw Clay Lick & Departure

At dawn, visit the Sotupa Clay Lick, where parrots, macaws and parakeets gather to feed on mineral-rich clay — one of the Amazon's most vibrant wildlife spectacles. Return to the lodge for breakfast, then transfer to the airport in Puerto Maldonado for your outbound flight to Lima.
