Tops’l Farm is a camp & farm retreat destination on the banks of the Medomak River in Waldoboro, ME. Our 83 acres of pristine pasture and hearty woodland offer an idyllic setting for your unique forest escape
Such a perfect visit! Tops'l Farm has everything you need to relax and enjoy nature in whatever way brings you peace...from a sauna and wood-fired hot tub to cabins with no electricity to farmhouses with full amenities plus private fire pits for each space, games, a communal space and lots of trails and places to hang out and enjoy nature. Can't say enough good things about this place and Sarah, the host was icing on the cake: super sweet, thoughtful and responsive to whatever we needed on our stay.
This was truly the most magical weekend! It was about 25 women, ranging in ages from 20s-60s. About half of the women came alone, and the other half came with a friend/family member. Sarah has created such an incredible space for women to come together, be their true selves, relax, and make lifelong connections. Not to mention, Bonnie makes the most delicious food I’ve ever had — every meal was out of this world. Jess led our meditations in the morning and did our massage, and she had the most calming energy. Overall, I would highly highly recommend this trip and am already hoping to go back next year!!
Sarah and her team at Tops’l made me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. The farmhouse is well-appointed and comfortable, and the food is fresh, healthy and thoughtfully prepared. Plus, there’s plenty of natural spaces in and around the farm to explore. I’d recommend a stay at Tops’l to friends and family. The visit made for the perfect Petite Pause!
Everything was amazing. Every detail taken care of. It felt like an all inclusive resort but 100x better because everything was local and sustainable and women led/run.
I recently had the time of my life during a weekend stay at The Petite Pause at Tops’l Farm, and I can’t stop thinking about it. From the moment I arrived, I felt a sense of calm wash over me—like I had finally exhaled after holding my breath for too long.
The farm itself is absolutely gorgeous. Nestled in the beauty of midcoast Maine, every inch of the property feels thoughtfully cared for, effortlessly blending rustic charm with quiet luxury. The fresh air, the peaceful surroundings, the soft rustle of trees—it was the perfect backdrop for rest and renewal.
What truly made the stay unforgettable, though, was Sarah, the host. She is one of the most incredible and gracious people I’ve ever met. Warm, welcoming, and attentive without ever being intrusive, she made me feel not just like a guest, but like a friend. Her hospitality set the tone for the whole weekend.
I’ve never felt more relaxed. I read, walked, sipped coffee in the crisp morning light, and just breathed. It was everything I didn’t know I needed. I came home feeling refreshed, recharged, and with a new lease on life—a rare and beautiful thing these days.
If you’re looking for a serene escape, a place to reconnect with yourself or just step away from the noise of everyday life, I can’t recommend The Petite Pause enough. It’s not just a getaway—it’s an experience.
I was gifted the "Petit Pause" May 8/9 2024 and knew very little about where I was going or what we would be doing, I just knew that a break sounded well needed. Well, I have to say that it was perfect! Jane's "no pressure" attitude towards relaxation and unplugging made it feel like you could really make the weekend into whatever you felt you most needed. Sneak away from dinner to get some hot tub time in, sure! Skip the yoga because you want to sleep in, sounds great! Lay in the field, read a good book, journal or make some new friends. Enjoy a glass of wine with some delicious appetizers! Dig a little deeper into tarot, human design or foraging, if you'd like. There was the perfect amount of structure and down-time to make the weekend feel full and robust, but also deeply relaxing. I came home feeling like a had the support of 30 new wonderful women friends, some new tools for self-discovery, and had gotten some serious relaxation in. What more could I ask for? Can't wait to come back again. Thanks Jane!
