After Breakfast, our tour guide will pick you up along with the driver and a vehicle. Firstly you will visit Kathmandu Durbar Square, a UNESCO world heritage site where you can observe the typical wood-carved temples and buildings reflecting the ancient Kathmandu city. Afterwards, we will head towards Swyambhunath- the monkey temple where you can observe the panoramic view of Kathmandu city. Then after, you will visit the Pashupatinath Temple, one of the biggest pilgrimage sites for the Hindu religion people in south-east Asia.

You will explore the surroundings and observe the ritual body cremating ceremony process of the Hindu people. We can also visit another pilgrimage site nearby to the Pashupatinath Temple i.e. Guweyswori Temple. Lastly, we will visit Boudhanath Stupa, another UNESCO world heritage site. The stupa was built in 600 A.D. and is the only one of a kind of Stupa which reflects Buddhism in the world. We shall explore the surroundings of Boudhanath Stupa. After completing our sightseeing, you can get back to the hotel and enjoy some rest.

In the early morning, our jeep will pick you up at the hotel. From Kathmandu, it takes about 8 to 9 hours to reach Phaplu. It is a long journey so just sit back, relax and enjoy the view along the way.

 Today, we start our trekking to Nunthala. We then incline towards Takshindo Gompa. At Takshindo, you can visit the Gompa and old cheese factory. After descending from here, you will reach Nunthala.

Continuing your trek with a gentle descent, you pass towards the Dudh Koshi River. You cross different agricultural pastures and a small Sherpa and Rai villages. From here, you ascent all the way to Kharikhola (2050m) passing through Juving (1680m). From Kharikhola, you will have a gentle walk of 45 minutes and then proceeds up to the Bupsa. Here, you can see an antique Buddhist Monastery in a ruined state.

 The morning starts with a steep ascend towards Khari La Pass (2880 m). Today, you pass through rhododendron and oak forest and a small Sherpa village. This viewpoint provides magnificent views of Numbu, Cho-Oyu, Gyangchung Kang, and Thamserku. Afterwards, descending towards Chaubar village, you will reach Puiyan. In the evening, you will reach Surkey, a beautiful Sherpa village at the bottom of Lukla.

 The first part of the trek is a gentle ascent to Chipling, a junction road to Jiri and Lukla. From this place, the road is quite broad and busy. Now, your trail is almost flat with a gentle descent and then ascent to Phakding.

 Today you will be trekking to Namche Bazaar, also known as Sherpa Capital. You leave Phakding and reach Monjo after 3 hours of the walk as we pass many suspension bridges with a good view of Mt. Thamserku. After walking for some time, you enter the Sagarmatha National park. Here, you must enter the check-post. Then you cross a high suspension bridge over the Dudh Koshi River and walk to Namche Bazar. This will take you about 2 and a half hours.

You will start off hiking along the old but still used, Everest expedition trail. There will be a possibility of you stumbling upon some rich Himalayan wildlife like deer, pheasants, and monkeys. This trail also offers beautiful views of the Amadablam peak standing at 6856m and leads you upwards through the thick forest which gives off a lovely aroma of Juniper bush and is also where the Tengboche Monastery resides. The Tengboche Monastery is the largest and most active Monastery in Khumbu. Many young monks live and receive excellent education there. From the courtyard, you can see spectacular sunrises and sunsets over Mt.Everest. The Mani Rimdu (a Sherpa dance-drama festival) takes place here during the full moon in November-December.
