After Breakfast, our tour guide will pick you up along with the driver and a vehicle. Firstly, you will visit Kathmandu Durbar Square, a UNESCO World Heritage site where you can observe the typical wood-carved temples and buildings reflecting the ancient Kathmandu city. Afterward, we will head towards Swyambhunath- the monkey temple, where you can observe the panoramic view of Kathmandu city. Then, you will visit the Pashupatinath Temple, one of the biggest pilgrimage sites for Hindu religious people in Southeast Asia.

You will explore the surroundings and observe the ritual body cremating ceremony process of the Hindu people. We can also visit another pilgrimage site near the Pashupatinath Temple, i.e., Guweyswori Temple. Lastly, we will visit Boudhanath Stupa, another UNESCO World Heritage site. The stupa was built in 600 A.D. and is the only one of its kind of Stupa that reflects Buddhism in the world. We shall explore the surroundings of Boudhanath Stupa. After completing our sightseeing, you can get back to the hotel and enjoy some rest.

In the early morning, our jeep will pick you up at the hotel. From Kathmandu, it takes about 8 to 9 hours to reach Phaplu. It is a long journey so just sit back, relax and enjoy the view along the way.

Today, we start our trek to Nunthala. We then incline towards Takshindo Gompa. At Takshindo, you can visit the Gompa and the old cheese factory. After descending from here, you will reach Nunthala.

Continuing your trek with a gentle descent, you pass towards the Dudh Koshi River. You cross different agricultural pastures and small Sherpa and Rai villages. From here, you ascend to Kharikhola (2050m), passing through Juving (1680m). From Kharikhola, you will have a gentle walk of 45 minutes and then proceed up to the Bupsa. Here, you can see an antique Buddhist Monastery in a ruined state.

The morning starts with a steep ascend towards Khari La Pass (2880 m). Today, you pass through the rhododendron and oak forest and a small Sherpa village. This viewpoint provides magnificent views of Numbu, Cho-Oyu, Gyangchung Kang, and Thamserku. Afterward, descending towards Chaubar village, you will reach Puiyan. In the evening, you will reach Surkey, a beautiful Sherpa village at the bottom of Lukla.

The first part of the trek is a gentle ascent to Chipling, a junction road to Jiri and Lukla. From this place, the road is quite broad and busy. Now, your trail is almost flat with a gentle descent and then ascend to Phakding.

Today you will be trekking to Namche Bazaar, also known as Sherpa Capital. You leave Phakding and reach Monjo after 3 hours of walking, as we pass many suspension bridges with a good view of Mt. Thamserku. After walking for some time, you enter the Sagarmatha National Park. Here, you must enter the check post. Then you cross a high suspension bridge over the Dudh Koshi River and walk to Namche Bazar. This will take you about 2 and a half hours.

Namche Bazaar is also known as the Sherpa Capital. You can use your time to acclimatize, relax, and explore the surrounding places. Most of the trekkers prefer to get up before sunrise. You can view the magnificent Everest, Thamserku, AmaDablam, and other glorious peaks. One can get a chance to observe the shadow of the mountains being projected onto the clouds. As an energy supplier, one should try salt-butter tea and Champa, a kind of barley often consumed by the sherpas in the region.

As you incline towards the forest’s magnificent mountain ranges, smile at you. You continue walking toward the face of the mountain and eventually enter Tengboche. A stone gate built by lamas welcomes you.

From Tengboche, we enter an altitude beyond 4,000m. The trail drops down to Dingboche and crosses the Imja River. Then, you climb past Mani Stones to Pangboche at 3860m. Visit the gompa and then resume our climb to Pheriche. At Pheriche, you can find the Pheriche Hospital. It is run by the Himalayan Rescue Association. If needed, you can get some medication.

Today is an acclimatization day. Due to the increase in altitude, we need to rest before proceeding further. You can also roam the area.

Enjoy the panoramic views of mountains such as Tawache and AmaDablam. To the north, there are Pokalde, Kongma-Tse, and the great wall of Nuptse. We then head to Lobuche. After nearly two hours of walking, you will merge with the walking path near Dugla (4595m). You also cross a small wooden bridge over the river of Khumbu Glacier and then reach Lobuche.

From Lobuche, you will continue to trek to Gorakshep. Gorakshep is a major joining point of the classic trek to Everest Base Camp Trek and Kala Patthar. The place also offers a great view of the Himalayan range. In the afternoon, visit the Kala Patthar to watch the majestic sunset. From this viewpoint, you can have an excellent panoramic view of Mount Everest and Lhotse.  Also, Khumbutse, Lhotse, Nuptse, Pumori, Amadablam, Thamserku, Lobuche Peak, etc., are visible.

In the early morning, you visit EBC, which is about 2 hours away. As you stay close to Everest, you can enjoy the view from the base camp and return to Gorakshep. Afterward, it’s a return journey ahead to Lobuche.

Descending down through the terminal moraine of Khumbu Glacier, you reach the Pheriche village. You can enjoy the beautiful views of Cholatse across the valley. You are then ascent for some time to reach Dingboche.

Continuing your journey, you will trek through the Rhododendron and Juniper trees. After crossing the bridge over the Dudh Koshi River, you follow the Dudh Koshi gorge. Then, you need to descend rapidly through the pine forests before reaching Sansa. You keep a lookout for wildlife like mountain goats, snow leopards, and colorful pheasants. After passing a Chorten, you reach the army camp at Namche Bazaar.

Enjoy your last glimpse of the mountains you have recently visited. The flight to Kathmandu leaves before 10:00 am. Sometimes, it differs according to weather conditions. On arrival at Kathmandu, you will be transferred to your hotel.

Today, our guide will pick you up and take you to Patan, an ancient city in the Kathmandu Valley. Explore UNESCO World Heritage sites such as Krishna Temple, Patan Durbar Square, and the Patan Museum to learn about the city’s history and its rulers. Later, visit the revered Golden Temple, which attracts both Hindu and Buddhist devotees.

Afterward, we’ll head to Bhaktapur, known for its well-preserved architecture and historic wood-carved buildings. Explore landmarks like Nyatapola Temple and enjoy a pottery-making class in Pottery Square, where you can design your pottery creations.
