Whether you’re looking to refine your technique or simply enjoy friendly competition, this trip delivers the perfect balance of learning and play.

Our home base will be a beautiful all-inclusive resort where everything is taken care of—all meals, drinks, and resort amenities are included. Play pickleball by day, unwind poolside or on the beach by afternoon, and enjoy great food, cocktails, and camaraderie every evening.

Adding an extra layer of care and personalization, Drinkwater Travel owner Janet Drinkwater will be traveling with the group to provide VIP service throughout the entire trip, ensuring every detail runs smoothly from arrival to departure.

CANCELLATION POLICY

All deposits and payments are non-refundable and non-transferable. Our contractual agreements with hotels and multiple travel vendors will not allow us to obtain refunds after booking to guarantee our group discounts.  View the travel insurance below to protect deposit and payments. 

The purchase of Travel Protection Insurance is HIGHLY recommended to protect your investment  just  in case "what if " happens.  It is better to have insurance and not need it, than to need it and not have it! The Dominican Republic scare is a prime example. Most companies offer “cancel for any reason” coverage at a very low cost.

Compare travel insurance companies. Please review  the best plan for you. You can also "Google"  "travel insurance companies", "travel insurance" or  "travel protection" for additional options.  Make sure you purchase a "Comprehensive Plan" if you would like to add your flight to your insurance later. If you have a pre-existing condition, many plans require purchase within 14-21 days of making the deposit. Also check if you have a "Cancel For Any Reason" policy which also requires purchase within 21 days .

• Arrive at the Cancun International Airport; you will go through
  immigrations, gather your luggage and pass through customs.
  Walk outside to the transfer pick up area.

• Check in with transportation representative. (Transfer info will be in your travel documents.)
  Rep will take you to the van for your transfer to Ava Resort.

• Check in and relax by the pool, beach, play pickleball, get lunch

  or meet at the Cocktail Bar @ Elevator 4 and grab a cocktail.
  

• Welcome Meeting to talk about the schedule for the week.

  Pick up your goodie bag; Answer any questions.

• It’s your last evening at Ava, come mingle with your new friends at the cocktail bar for a soda or drink before before the farewell dinner.

• Farewell Dinner at the resort.

• Either have a nightcap at one of the bar or go to the night club.

• You will have to be at the airport 3 hours prior to departure.

  You will be picked up by the transfer company approximately 3 ½ - 4 hrs prior to departure.

  Janet will advise you of your pick up times depending on your flight schedule.

• Check out is at 12:00 PM - noon

  You can leave your luggage with the bellmen and continue to enjoy the resort will approximately 3 PM.

  You must check out of your room by noon.

• If you’d like to play on the departure day, we may be able to arrange that for you (depending on your departure time). Just let me know what time you’d like to play.

• Be in the lobby, checked out approximately 15 minutes prior to your pick up time
