Rusconi Viaggi – DMC is an European Receptive Operator and destination management specialist, Rusconi works for customized groups all over the European continent and USA, specialising in pilgrimages, and incentives.  Rusconi was the first, 40 years ago,  to have reached, valorised and decided to plan pilgrimages to Medjugorje and they did so as pioneers when, in that remote and unknown place in Bosnia and Herzegovina, paradoxically the only certainty to rely on were precisely the apparitions of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Day 1: Depart for Medjugorje:

Make your way to JFK Airport, where you will board KLM overnight flight.

Day 2: Arrive Dubrovnik:

Upon arrival in Dubrovnik, collect your luggage in the baggage claim area, and continue to the arrival hall, where you will be greeted by a tour guide and driver, transfer to the  hotel in Medjugorje.

Days 3- 6 Medjugorje:

Climb Apparition Hill: This mountainous hill is where the visionaries first encountered Our Lady. At the base of this hill is a Blue Cross, where Our Lady appeared to the children while they hid from the communist police in the early days of the alleged apparitions. While climbing, we will recite the Rosary, pausing five times for each decade of the Rosary. At the top of the hill is the exact location of the first alleged apparition of Our Lady – enjoy private time for prayer in this Holy place.

Climb Mt. Krizevac (Cross Mountain): In 1933, the villagers built a 30-foot high cross atop the mountain to commemorate Jesus’ passion and death on the cross. We will climb this mountain and venerate that very cross. While climbing, we pray the Stations of the Cross to meditate on Jesus’ suffering Road to Calvary, pausing fifteen times for each Station.

Visit the Community of Cenacolo: The Group will visit the community of Cenacolo, founded by the Sisters of Charity, for young men and women who have taken the wrong path and are on the road to recovery. You will be able to listen to their inspirational words about their journeys back to Jesus Christ.

Visit the Marian Community Oasis of Peace: We will visit The Marian Community - Oasis of Peace (CMOP) which is an ecclesial family of consecrated life, to which belong men and women of various states of life (internal consecrated members, including some priests, secular consecrated members and married couples).

Together, they share the same spiritual goal: to intercede for peace and to bring about peace in all places and situations, under the guidance of Mary. She is the maternal womb in whom Christ-Peace (cf. Eph. 2:14) unceasingly takes form. The charism of peace, for every person, thus implies deep prayer, self-giving, welcoming, and openness to others, in imitation of Mary of Nazareth.

After each morning Activity: Free Time. Medjugorje is a small town, everything is within 5-10 minutes walking distance.

Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament: Our Lady has always called us to be close to her Son. In response to her call, pilgrims will have the opportunity to adore the Blessed Sacrament at the altar outside of St. James Church. Adoration is on Tuesdays and Saturdays; Veneration of the Cross is on Fridays inside the church. Additionally, there is an Adoration Chapel on the grounds of St. James Church, where Adoration is held everyday in the afternoon hours.

Prayer at the Statue of the Risen Christ: The bronze statue of the Risen Christ, is located on the grounds of St. James Church. Many pilgrims sit and pray on the benches surrounding this peaceful statue. This statue miraculously seeps droplets of water at all times of the day out of Christ’s right knee.

Apparitions: Each evening at 5:00 PM or 6:00 PM each one will be free to join the villagers and fellow pilgrims of Medjugorje at either St James Church or Apparition Hill to commemorate the time Our Lady appears to the Visionaries. There you can pray the Rosary, as you await that time at 5:40 PM.

Day 7: After an early breakfast, we’ll leave by motor coach for Dubrovnik Airport for our return flight home.
