Badrinath is the most important place in Char Dham Yatra in India. Badrinath is the sacred place of Vishnu Bhagwan. Lord Vishnu is worshipped in the dual form of Nar Narayan.  According to Skanda Puran, there are several sacred shrines in heaven, on earth and in hell but there is no shrine like Badrinath. You can also visit Mata Murty temple, Bheem Pul, Vyas Gufa, Ganesh Gufa and Panch Prayag during Ek Dham Yatra. The opening dates of Badrinath are announced on Vasant Panchami every year. Badrinath is accessible by road and vehicles go up to the main town.
