Pinzón Island, sometimes called Duncan Island is located in a central western island in the Galapagos Islands, Ecuador.
Pinzón is home to giant Galapagos totoises of the endemic subspecies (Chelonoidis nigra duncanensis) and other endemic species.
It has an area of 18 km2 and a maximum altitude of 458 meters.

Tour starts from pier on Santa Cruz Island

8:00 am: You will meet the guide and group at the passenger's pier. After 2 hours approx. of navigating towards Pinzon Island you will sight the south eastern cliffs and discover the Blue Footed Boobies, pelicans, frigats and other marine birds resting along the cliffs, before we arrive to our snorkeling point.
It's an opportunity to observe the Galapagos marine wildlife while snorkeling. Back to the boat, lunch awaits for you. (please advise if you have any dietary restrictions).
We sail back to Santa Cruz Island where we make a stop at La Fe Beach in order to observe marine iguanas, sally lightfoot crabs and blue footed boobies. Whilst snorkeling you can spot rays, golden rays, sea turtles and if we are lucky some white tipped sharks. After swimming you can enjoy some downtime at this beautiful beach accessible only by boat. I
t's then, time to return to Puerto Ayora. Approximate arrival time: 3:00 to 4:00 pm.
