Contact Barefoot Services prior to booking to verify availability.  We are a small family business and availability changes quickly. 

Renter must be:

1. Age 21 years or older

2. be present to sign the rental agreement

3. present a valid credit card at the time of receiving the cart.  This is required to cover late return fees, off site location fees that were not agreed to, refueling or rental damages.

IMPORTANT NOTICE ABOUT DISCOUNTED RATES:

Rates during Dec 20 – Jan 10 and the month of February are always the standard day.

Discounted rates on this site does not apply during that time of year.  We may update you with the add on fee/rate difference whe booking peak dates.  

A minimum 3 rental days is required for the period Dec 15 to Jan 10.

All posted rates apply to clients booking directly.

Standard Individual DEPOSIT POLICY  

• Your booking confirmation necessitates a nonrefundable deposit of US $25 for each service, payable immediately.
• The full payment will be seamlessly processed within 16 days prior to the commencement of the service.
• Please be aware that the confirmation email might display charges in both US Dollars and Belizean Dollars (BZE). This dual representation is meant to provide clarity regarding the associated costs.
  • Kindly be informed that the exchange rate between US Dollars and Belizean Dollars is US $1.00 = BZ$2.00.
• Furthermore, we would like to bring to your attention the possibility of additional charges from your credit card company for foreign transactions. While we have no authority over these charges, we recommend reaching out to your bank to address any queries or concerns regarding supplementary fees. Your understanding  is greatly appreciated.

Barefoot Services retains the authority to apply or waive a reservation deposit at its discretion.

Standard Individual CANCELLATION POLICY

• Cancellation requests are exclusively accepted in written form, sent to BarefootServicesBelize@Gmail.com.
• For cancellations made over 15 days before the service start date, a full refund will be issued, excluding the nonrefundable US $25.00 deposit per service.
• Cancellations made within 15 days of the service start date will result in an 85% refund.
• Cancellations made within 7 days of the service start date will lead to a 50% refund.
• Cancellations made within 3 days of the service start date are not eligible for a refund.

(Kindly note that these dates experience high demand and are anticipated to be fully booked. We recommend proceeding with a reservation only if you are absolutely certain of your plans.)

Prior to confirming a personalized package, general package, or a group booking, we kindly urge you to review our Deposit and Cancellation Policies pertaining to Personalized Packages, General Packages, and Group Bookings for all dates. This information may have already been shared with you via email or can readily be obtained by reaching out to us directly. Your understanding and awareness of these policies are greatly appreciated.

Our office is closed on the weekend and Belize holidays (but we provide services everyday as long as it is pre-scheduled), we will only come in for the agreed meeting time.  If you are delayed or there are changes in your arrival, this may affect your rental pick up.  Please keep us informed at WhatsApp Worldwide (Text & Call) +501-629 9602

To finalize a booking, we will need a copy of the renter driver's license.  Two drivers are allowed per rental.  We will need this information in advance (at least 7 days prior to your rental  begin date). The cart is rented with a full tank of fuel.

the rental comes with standard insurance
Barefoot Services does not offer its clients any special insurance coverage for rental damages or liability. None is available for sale. Please check in advance with your credit card issuer if rental damages are covered via the credit card you will be using.  Your credit card will be associated with paying for late fees, refueling and damages.  

It is imperative that the renter is physically present to endorse the golf cart rental agreement. Please be mindful that you will need to present a  credit card to add to your account for to charges associated with tardy returns, damages, and refueling among other things. 

Take a moment to carefully review the rental agreement at pick up. 

While the cart is equipped with legally mandated insurance, we do not provide additional coverage such as liability insurance. It is the renter's full responsibility to ensure the well-being of the cart.

Placencia is one of the most popular visitor destinations in Belize. With 16 miles of coastline along the Caribbean, the Placencia Peninsula features sandy white beaches and access to some of the best fishing anywhere in the country. The village of Placencia at the southern tip of the peninsula serves as the unofficial capital and is home to some of the best restaurants, cafes, bars, stores and dive shops in the area.

One of Placencia’s principal attractions is its close location to the world famous Belize Barrier Reef, the second-largest barrier reef in the world. Hundreds of postcard-perfect tropical islands and atolls are located in and on the Belize Barrier Reef, ideal locations to fish, snorkel, kayak and dive. The rich ecosystem, sandy white ocean bottom, and crystal clear waters make the Belize Barrier Reef a true natural wonder of the world.

Locals in Placencia refer to their village as “Barefoot Perfect”, an apt expression to describe the relaxed, friendly and welcoming atmosphere that you’ll find there. Placencia Village is especially proud of its spot in the Guinness Book of World Records for having the narrowest main street in the world, actually a 4,000-foot long sidewalk or footpath that is just four feet wide. With no cars to contend with, visitors can amble down the central sidewalk to enjoy one of the many bars, restaurants and cafes that line the one and only main “street”.

Placencia Village is also a great place to arrange for sailing, fishing, diving and snorkeling trips to the Belize Barrier Reef. The village is home to a number of certified PADI and NAUI scuba and dive shops.

The Placencia Peninsula is also an ideal place to relax, soaking in the sun or spending time at one of the lovely luxury resorts that offer private beachfront access, gourmet restaurants, infinity swimming pools and world-class spa and massage services. Many visitors enjoy using a golf cart or bicycle to make their way up and down the peninsula, visiting the Garifuna village of Seine Bight and taking in the beautiful views while looking for some of the dozens of tropical birds that live in the area.
