Plant Medicine Ceremonies
Grandmother Ayahuasca is the sacred brew from the Amazon. The ceremonies take place at night, and she helps us to let go of negative feelings, energies that we are holding onto, She helps align and heal mind, body & spirit. She can teach us about the universe, ourselves and helps show us where we are living out of alignment. This ceremony lasts around 2-6 hours typically. Many people vomit, have diarrhea, as this is an emotional energetic release. We also might have visions, or receive sudden knowings and understandings.
Grandfather San Pedro is a cactus from the Andes, a healing masculine energy, helping you find alignment and open your heart once more, ready to take flight. We will meet with Grandfather San Pedro next to Granfather Fire in beautiful, unique ceremonies at night and during the day. This ceremony begins around 8:30am and finishes around 3pm, though we will continue to feel the medicine until the night. Again, we might have a purge or some kind, and recieve visions and feel a connection with Mother Earth.
Grandfather Tobacco is seen as the greatest of all the plants of power. He connects us to Spirit, allowing us to communicate with the spirit world. In ceremonies with Tobacco, he helps us purge negative emotions, cleansing us physically, mentally and spiritually. Ceremonies with Tobacco include drinking tobacco, shingar -- putting tobacco water up the nose, and hape - powder tobacco up the nose, and finishing with smoking.
Mama Cacao is a heart-opening plant medicine, revered for its ability to deepen emotional awareness and spiritual connection. Used in ceremonial settings, cacao enhances clarity, love, and compassion, allowing for a deeper connection to oneself and others. It gently facilitates healing and alignment, fostering inner peace and growth.

We will provide preparation support, and we hold circles during our plant medicine retreats to discuss any questions you may have in advance. After our plant medicine ceremonies, we also have sharing circles, so you can share any pearls from your ceremony experience. Some people have sat in ceremonies previously, whereas, for others, it is their first time meeting with the plant medicines. We include integration support post-retreat as well, offering several Zoom calls to check in and give suggestions for staying on your healing path.
Optional:
Virtual limpia (energetic cleansing) with Katie, or Limpia + Tarot Reading
- We can do a limpia for you via Zoom before the retreat if you wish, or after. We will do them at the retreat, but it can be helpful to start aligning your energy or help with any health issues you might be experiencing even before you arrive. Or have a reading and limpia or clearing and guidance.
Limited spaces available. Secure your spot today and step into a life-changing experience of healing, transformation, and connection.

Katie facilitates the retreats with Allpa Mama Healing. She apprenticed 5 years with her partner Miguel, who is a traditional shaman, and has begun to hold her own San Pedro ceremonies. Katie will be leading the San Pedro ceremony and she will assist in the other ceremonies. She also studied with a healer from the north in Otavalo, Ecuador, learning more shamanic healing techniques and herbalism.
Tennessee is a master reiki practitioner, sacred medicine ceremony facilitator, yoga teacher, and spiritual guide and mentor. She is also a trauma-informed veteran. She will be leading meditations, yoga, breathwork sessions and reiki sessions while here. We are lucky to have her!
Taita German is an indigenous Shuar taita, or curandero, shaman from Ecuador with over 30 years of experience working with Ayahuasca. He comes from a lineage of shamans from Gualaquiza, taught by his uncle and cousins. He is a powerful, strong and dedicated healer with a good sense of humor.
Allpa Mama Healing is based in the Southern Andes mountains in Malacatos, Ecuador, what was referred to as the "sacred valley" for its powerful healing energies.
